We are from Austria and had the privilege to stay in this beautiful home for one week and enjoyed every minute. The place was impeccable. It was larger than we expected and we couldn't have asked for more. Our children had a lot of fun with all the boats, floats, fishing poles etc.. We couldn't get them out of the water. It's very generous the owners provide all this fun equipment for our use. The property and house are being kept very clean and lovely with all the flowers etc. Waking up and looking out of the window seeing nothing but the beautiful lake was a special treat every single day. Outdoor fireplace and barbeque were used frequently. Didn't take advantage of much other activities nearby since the house had all we needed after 4 busy days sightseeing in Manhattan. Peace and quiet in this "gem" was all we were looking for. We definitely recommend this place to friends and family, if it wasn't so far away, we'd probably come back every summer. Thanks again to Roman to provide anything we needed and sharing his beautiful home! We will be back for sure.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We returned from a wonderful month at this lovely, comfortable home directly on the lake. The views and sunsets were amazing! The home is larger than we expected from the photos. With boats and floats at the property, we had plenty of fun days on the lake. We took a short drive to Saratoga for the horse races and Hudson for wonderful restraunts.Thanks to the owners for sharing their home! We look forward to visiting again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time. The lake is beautiful, the property is perfect... I wouldnt change a thing. I can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend a stay here for someone looking to relax and spend some quality time outdoors with their family/friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Wonderful laid back setting, The kids are older now and I would like other families to experience the all the wonders that Kinderhook Lake has to offer. Memories are truely made here.
