The property was as described and would be an ideal rental for a family. I was a little concerned that I couldn't pay with a credit card through VBRO, but everything worked out fine. My only disappointment was that the kitchen was not extremely well equipped, which is why we chose to rent a cabin rather than stay in a hotel. Although the outdoor grill was out of propane, we've been assured that we will be reimbursed for the refill. The property was clean and the one bed we used was comfortable. Nancy was very helpful before and after the trip and was easy to work with.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had a lot of variables coming into this vacation. Two small dogs. Three kids. Six adults. And this gem of a cabin kept them all happy all week long. The cabin comes with plenty of aquatic toys. Two row boats, one kayak, one canoe, and flotation devices for full relaxation on the small but incredible peaceful Nose Lake. We fished every day, catching perch, bass, bluegill and bullheads (caught two nice bass right from the dock). The cabin came with all we needed to make ourselves at home, and Nancy was such a great host (thanks for the awesome wine, Nancy!) Bikes to ride. Trails to walk or run. Close but not too close Rhinelander. Loons in the morning. Distance coyotes by the campfire at night. Huge back deck to grill (the grill worked so well) or relax on. We had an amazing vacation. Thank you, Nancy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband and I have stayed at this place three times and are planning a fourth trip back. It is very clean, cozy and remodeled with charming updates. There are excellent lake views from both the living room and downstairs finished basement. The knotty pine is a charming touch of up north. I love the convenience of a bedroom and full bath downstairs and two bedrooms, bath & laundry upstairs. When traveling with another couple it gives you plenty of privacy and space. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the amenities and there is quaint bar/restaurant with great food real close by. The place has a huge back deck facing the lake with quiet secluded wooded surroundings. A fire pit and a couple big screen TVs , what more could you ask for a peaceful getaway. The owners are really nice people that are very easy to deal with.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
