The information about the cabin was accurate. It is a good area, out of the way, and an awesome view. While it is fairly remote, it is only a few minutes to some restaurants & Chattanooga is close too. I highly recommend any one of the cabins on the mountain.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

Perfect for a long weekend...except we didn't want to leave. The cabin is lovely, and even more amazing when you learn that all of the wood work, from the walls to the cabinets are handmade by the owner. Our cabin was spic and span clean. We were delighted with the view and the location ( 20 minutes to Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain). This is a spot that would be fun to see in all seasons.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Very nice, quiet, peaceful family vacation. We enjoyed our stay very much. Far enough away but close enough to all the local attractions. The cabin was very nice and the pictures were right on target. As far as cleanliness, I was a little disappointed. Upon arrival, outside of the cabin there was construction equipment, gas can, a sprayer and wood debris within the yard. I understand the owner is in the process of building another cabin but with smaller children that love outdoors thats a little concerning. Inside the cabin, the rugs and fireplace were not clean. The microwave and stove were full of smudged fingerprints, as if, not wiped down. I don't believe the floors have been mopped in a while, I had to wipe up a spill from my son and the rag was black, along with our socks. As far as sleeping/bathing 7 to 8, with the beds/towels provided, I wouldn't recommend it. We we unable to make it through bathing the 3 kids before the hot water was out and you had to get the faucet just right in order to even get hot water. There was six of us, 6 towels and we filled all beds (3 adults, 3 kids). Kitchen needs to be better stocked with pots/pans/baking trays/bowls. Need a large trash can outside to be able to put daily trash out. I'm not trying to sound like a complainer (which it seems), I'm really just trying to advise the owner and other vacationers with what our experience and concerns were. Like I said, we very much enjoyed our stay and the cabin is beautifully built. I would recommend this cabin to others because our overall experience was good, with the area, the owner, and local activities/attractions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This cabin was exactly as described. The photos were accurate. It was clean, quiet, private, peaceful, and relaxing. The cabin sits above the cloud line so we could see for miles. One morning we looked out and saw a group of bald eagles circling in the sky. It was breathtaking. From high above we could look down and see the trains going by along the water on a regular basis, which we really enjoyed. We also enjoyed the local restaurants - J's Hole in the Wall and the Dixie Freeze, which the owner recommended to us. The cabin is about 30 minutes from Chattanooga so when we wanted to venture out, there was plenty to choose from relatively close by. The only change we would make would be to add wireless internet access. We plan to return to this relaxing get away.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We are missing mountains and great view in our house. We found it all and much more in this cabin. It was very hard for us to find cabin near Chattanooga, TN with beautiful view. Eagle's nest cabin was the only one with 180 degrees panorama view and be sure the view looks more beautiful like on picture posted on internet. Cabin itself is like new. You can smell it. You have there everything what you need, from coffee maker through fridge, stove, oven, microwave, TV with movies, radio with music you like, in the middle of kitchen big island with water and sink, city water, shower, AC and heater, everything for kitchen needs / eat and cook/,... and beautiful deck with view. Hot tub works great. We are really happy we could spend seven nights in this cabin and see all major attractions around Chattanooga. It is about 30 minutes to drive, roads are in good condition. Cabin has good privacy with automatic gate on code, great idea. Owner, Kenny is great hardworking man, he did great job on this cabin. He helped us with any kind of questions. Our message to all of you: go for this cabins. Our message to Kenny Hill / owner/ : continue to build more and more so beautiful cabins.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
