This condo is definitely one that I would recommend. New furniture, fresh paint, new comforters, sheets and pillows. Warm beach colors throughout made us feel very comfortable. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice views from the balcony and the complex is centrally located so everything is close. We will be back next year without a doubt!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I wish I could say that everything about our stay here was wonderful, but unfortunately there were some issues. Most importantly, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable. The mattress and pillows were wrapped in a plastic protector pad which made sleeping very hot and noisy and there was no ceiling fan in the bedroom to help keep us cooler on the hot bed. In addition, the mattress sagged in the middle. The description states that this condo is across the street from the beach. Be prepared to walk quite a bit as this unit is at the back of the condo complex and the "street" is a 5 lane major highway with heavy traffic which was difficult to cross. The cleaning service for this unit needs improvement....we could not walk barefooted on the tile floors because our feet would get filthy black. And the shower curtain was badly mildewed. The kitchen is very nice and well supplied for our needs. The owners went above what I have experienced in other places by providing such cleaning supplies as dish washing detergent and paper towels. This was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: I am very sorry about the issues you had in the unit. I wish you would have called me to report the problems and they would have been addressed immediately. Unfortunately, the cleaning company has had other complaints so I decided to fire them as of July 12th. This reflects on us and not them so it was time to let them go. A new company has been hired and they have a great resume along with excellent references. Again if this was reported to me during your stay I would have had the cleaning crew out there to mop and steam clean the floors immediately. It is unacceptable for you to have to walk around on dirty floors during your stay or have anything dirty in the unit. Our goal is to have each guest experience the best vacation and to enjoy their stay at Grand Caribbean Unit 224. I will also address the mattress in the bedroom. This is the 1st report we received about it sagging in the middle so it is probably time for a new one. The mattress protectors were put on to prevent staining however I did not think about the noise it would make when sleeping at night. We will have to try something different. Thanks for letting us know and I will send you a personal email shortly. Again, we strive for each guest to have the best vacation and a relaxing one too. If there is ever a problem, do not hesitate to call and report the issue. It will be handled and taken care of immediately. That is what we are here for so you can continue on with your vacation getaway.

Unit was nice and clean. Balcony views were gorgeous. Lots of shops and dining close by and will come back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
