Beautiful cabin!
Beautiful cabin!

The cabin and the land are beautiful; however, the driveway is another story. We vacation in Colorado yearly so are familiar with some "off road" and steep terrain. It was rainy when we got there but we were driving a diesel, 4-door truck so felt okay about attempting to climb the very steep driveway....it did not. At the half way point in the drive, there's a very sharp turn which we could not make, requiring that we back up and adjust our position. When we tried to move forward again, the wheels spun out and we began to slide backwards towards the cliff. With 4 adults and a baby in the truck you can only imagine the fear we had. The remainder of the trip, we parked our truck at the bottom of the driveway and walked up and down every time we arrived and left again. This cabin is beautiful and very peaceful but this experience was terrifying and had we been properly warned about how steep this drive actually was, we would have definitely rented elsewhere. I feel very mislead that the cabin owner never mentioned this when we were communicating prior to our trip.Owner response: I am not sure why this group of renters had so much trouble with the driveway. Out of over 50 groups of renters, this is the first group that could not make it up the hill. I myself drive up the driveway with my grandchildren all the time. We have had service trucks and vans drive up to the cabin many times. Our cleaning people go up to the cabin without any trouble several times a week. As is clearly stated on the VRBO webpage, the driveway is steep, but easily manageable in 1st gear. The person who wrote this review had no complaints until after they had stayed at the cabin, using all of the facilities and then asked for a refund after they returned home. If the driveway was an insurmountable issue for them, why didn't they call me immediately for a refund after they realized their truck couldn't make it up the hill? We don't want anyone to be dissatisfied with their experience at our cabin. We truly want our guests to have a good time on their vacation, and ask that they call us personally for any problems. As noted by other guests in their reviews, we respond quickly to make sure people enjoy their stay at our cabin.

My family recently rented this cabin. It is an absolutely beautiful cabin set into the Blue Ridge Mountains. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. While it was secluded, it was still close to the city of Blue Ridge and other area attractions. I would definitely recommend this cabin and should we decide to vacation in the mountains again, we will certainly rent this cabin again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This is a great cabin in a great location. Just the right size for our group of 4 adults and 7 small children. The cabin is very secluded, yet not far from town and fun things to do. Kids had a great time playing with the games, the hot tub, and exploring the outdoors around the cabin. We got great use out of the fire pit and enjoyed relaxing on the large deck. We found a portable hammock in the closet downstairs and enjoyed that as well. The driveway is a bit steep, but we were able to navigate it with a minivan pulling a trailer, just be sure to take it easy and get used to it the first couple of times you go up. Judy was very responsive and a pleasure to work with on the few issues we did experience. Very pleased with our choice, would definitely return.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. The cabin was in a private location and was clean and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, extra towels and blankets, and games and activities for the kids. Just what we needed for our family vacation including 5 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed hiking on the Aska Trails and visiting Amicalola Falls State Park. We also rode on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. We would definitely recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Beautiful Cabin!!! I will deffinately rent this place again! Furnishings are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. Very clean!!! Sunrise on the mountain is awesome!! Outside fire pit was so much fun!! It's so dark up there you can see every star in the solar system!! Absolutely amazing!! This is a very secluded cabin so if you're looking for something like that it fits the bill. We arrived to a bit of trouble with a tree down across the road driving into the cabin. Owner Ryan was very quick to respond! He had somoeone out and the tree was removed with in an hour and a half. After that we enjoyed every minute. Thank you to Ryan & Judy for the use of your home away from home, we really do appreciate it. We'll be back next year!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We had a great stay in this comfortable, well-stocked cabin with our group of 7 adults and 5 kids. The location was very private, and the cabin itself was clean, spacious and well-stocked with extra blankets, towels, games, and kitchen items. I felt the cabin was bigger in person than the pictures on the website indicated, a pleasant surprise. Although the rainy weather kept us from exploring much, we did enjoy nearby Amicalola Falls State Park. We would certainly recommend this cabin to others and use it again ourselves.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I had a group of women join together at the cabin for a fun weekend! The cabin was BEAUTIFUL and squeaky clean! It felt so "homey" and comfortable... the ideal cabin stay! It was the perfect size for the group. The hot tub and fire pit were GREAT to utilize. I loved how secluded it was, and Blue Ridge is the cutest town (only 5 minutes away)!! We ate at Harvest on the Main and it was DELICIOUS. Overall, the weekend was a HUGE success!! I would definitely recommend this cabin/location to anyone. The Tingles were very easy to get in contact with, and were very friendly. Please consider this cabin for your next trip to North Georgia... it won't fail you!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

On our recent trip to the mountains we stayed here and had a wonderful time. The Cabin was amazing, It had a ton of room and was very secluded, It had very comfortable beds, which is rare when renting. The furniture was very new and comfy and the game room down stairs was full of board games for everyone to play. We spent every night relaxing in the hot tub and also saw deer one evening. The only down side was the driveway, it was very steep and narrow, But we managed without incident. It is a beautiful cabin and we will stay there again...Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Booked this cabin for my whole family to spend a long weekend in Blue Ridge and take a ride on the Blue Ridge Railway. The cabin is remote and secluded but only 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. What a beautifully decorated cabin! It was perfect for 3 families and a bunk room for 4 little boys under 6. They were so surprised to find so many games and fun things for them to do at the cabin. The extras were all there including comfortable beds. We also loved the fire pit and making s'mores and sitting around the fire. I will be booking this cabin again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
