Welcome to our classic Maine beach cottage, in excellent condition, directly across the beach road from a beautiful, wide sandy beach. The cottage comes with a right-of-way to a private path that provides direct access to this stunning, two mile long beach, perfect for sunning and sandcastle building.
You enter our charming home directly into a large great room with cathedral ceilings, a brick fireplace, flat screen satellite TV, and an open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen with large breakfast bar and leather stools has been recently updated. Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one perfect for up to 3 kids with a bunk bed and an additional twin bed, and the second with a double bed and its own full bathroom (with shower/tub and washer/dryer). Upstairs is one large bedroom with vaulted ceilings and a ceiling fan, a queen bed and another full bath. Also upstairs is a small loft that opens onto a second story deck with ocean views, perfect for snuggling up with a good book while enjoying the sea breezes and the gentle lull of the ocean waves. Because there are virtually two master bedrooms with full baths and TVs, this cottage is perfect for a three-generation family vacation or two couples with kids.
In Biddeford Pool you’ll find a private, serene beach vacation with plenty of activities only a short drive away. We’re located only about 12 minutes from downtown Kennebunkport or Old Orchard Beach and less than half an hour from Portland. This is a fabulous area for antiquing and flea markets. There are great restaurants and a wonderful lobster pound/restaurant right down the road where you can eat overlooking Biddeford Pool. The upstairs deck overlooks the ocean and the downstairs screened porch overlooks the Rachel Carson wildlife preserve. Both are perfect spots for privacy and relaxation. The porch includes a large picnic table for outdoor eating, and the large flat grassy back yard is perfect for horse shoes, volleyball or bird watching over the marsh.

We had the most wonderful beach vacation at this charming and cozy cottage. The cottage was just as described. The kitchen was well-equipt and our kids loved eating at the breakfast bar. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were all updated and immaculate. The beach was directly across the street and it was GORGEOUS--soft, white sand and a gentle surf--perfect for long walks. And we loved the screened porch which had spectacular sunset views across the audubon preseve--we had a great lobster dinner out there. There was so much to do in the area--great restaurants, shops, hiking, biking, kayaking, amusement parks. It was a fantastic week, and we can't wait to come back!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

I love this place! I've vacationed at this cottage for many years and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The location is perfect with right of way access to a beautiful stretch of private beach. The cottage is immaculate and extremely comfortable. It's just like being home. Also, the owners are friendly and easy to deal with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
