Recently remodeled one-bedroom condo. We have one of the best views in the complex. The condo is located in the first stack behind the direct oceanfront units. An unobstructed view of the ocean from the second floor provides a beautiful view of the sunrise. Enjoy a shaded balcony on the hot afternoons.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a 22-inch wall- mounted LED TV, with all new furniture and bedding.
Newly remodeled bathroom with new shower enclosure.
The kitchen equipped with full-size appliances, dishes, pots and pans, coffeemaker, blender, waffle maker, and toaster, etc.
Linens, washcloths, and towels are provided. Bring your own beach towels to enjoy the great pools and beaches.
As you enter from the front door, there are two new bunk beds located off the hallway for the kids. The living area has a new queen sofa-sleeper and a 42-inch plasma TV with attached DVD player that will also play CDs and MP3s through the TV.
The resort itself has wonderful amenities. There are three pools, a large 5 foot deep pool on the west side of the complex with an island. There are benches in the pool for mingling. There is also a smaller three foot deep pool that can be used by the children. The west side common area is full of palms, plants, grills for charcoaling, a hot tub and restrooms. A wonderful place to work on your suntan. A smaller and more secluded pool is located on the east side of the resort. Grills, restrooms and an outside shower are available here as well.
An excellent pier for fishing is within walking distance just east of the Maravilla. For those who want to lay on the beach the most convenient outing is to pack a picnic and drive your car to the beach and then drive on the beach at Sunny Beach just 1.7 miles west of the Maravilla. A tailgate party at the beach!

We rent only to families and responsible adults at least 23 years of age. Maximum occupancy is six people.
The Maravilla condo is our second home, not just rental property. We would appreciate your treating it as you would your private get-away. Please abide by the Maravilla's rules, and have a great time during your stay.
Mandatory disclaimer required of all owners at the complex: All property amenities including exercise room, hot tub and pools may not be operational at all times due to construction, cleaning schedules, etc. The Maravilla complex, or some portion of the complex, is under construction which poses certain risks to those on the property. By your presence at the Maravilla complex, you understand the risks associated with your presence in a construction area and hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify and hold harmless the Maravilla HOA and each of its members jointly and severally, all employees and staff of the Maravilla HOA, any contractor or subcontractor and their employees, hired through any of these entities from any action that results from my presence on the property for any injury to yourself or damage to your property which may result from your presence on the property. The primary renter, by signing this agreement, indicates their agreement for themselves and each occupant of Unit # 206 of the Maravilla.

We had a great time at this condo. The owners were great to work with, the condo was perfect for our weekend. Having a full kitchen really saved us time on some meals so we could spend more time exploring the island. Our kids loved the bunk beds. This place was spotless and very cute. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The beach was across the street. Kitchen was clean and spacious. It was a last minute decision and the owners were quick to respond. We arrived in Galveston on a Friday evening and our trip started horrible when we were hit by a drunk driver just a few mins away from the condo. So, when we arrived to the condo we immediately felt at home and felt relaxed. The condo has nice upgrades, was clean and had nice furnishings. We felt very comfortable and although we didn't get to do everything we wanted to because we were sore from the wreck, we were able to RELAX in this condo and that was very important to us. There is a nice view of the beach from the balcony, the kitchen is very well stocked, the king bed is very comfortable and we loved the shower head in the shower. Overall, I highly recommend this unit for a stay in Galveston. We hope to rent the unit again in the near future. I really enjoyed my stay at this unit, especially that the balcony becomes shady earlier in the day which makes it so pleasant to sit outside to enjoy the great view and breeze. The unit is very nicely furnished and has everything you need. The king bed was very comfortable. I was particularly happy to see a security guard in the parking area when I arrived around 11:00 p.m. so I felt secure making my numerous trips between the car and the unit. Although this complex appears to be old and weathered in spots, great improvements have been made. The grounds are quite nice. You will not be disappointed while staying at this unit. I had a great visit. The owners were very helpful with information, etc.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was exactly as pictured. Very clean, and a wonderful view of the gulf! The owners were wonderful to work with as well! This was our first time to visit Galveston, and we are hoping to come back next summer, and plan on renting this condo again! I would recommend this condo whole heartedly!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our little family had a great time on our 2-night vacation in Galveston, and Maravilla #206 was an integral part of our enjoyment. The condo was just as pretty as pictured, and so comfortable with everything you might need in a "home away from home," including a fully stocked kitchen (pots and pans, utensils, plates/bowls/glasses, etc). The kids (ages 3 and 5) loved sleeping in their cozy bunk beds, and the ocean view was peaceful and awesome. I only wish that we had been able to stay one more night (or several!), but that was no fault of the owners. :) Our only complaint was that the quilts on the kids' bunk beds had apparently not been washed, as there were several visible human and pet hairs of various lengths, which we had to pick off and shake the blankets outside prior to feeling comfortable allowing our children to sleep with them. The first day, we drove a mile or so west on the Seawall to the Dellanera RV Park and Beach, which we found to be a much more pleasant beach experience than Stewart Beach, where we have gone previously (and much closer to the Maravilla). We returned to the condo for showers before taking a sunset walk to Jimmy's on the Pier, which I would recommend for the ambience alone, although the fish and chips were pretty good, too. We went to the Pleasure Pier on the second day, and that was a lot of fun! It was a Monday and there wasn't much of a crowd, which was nice, and they allow you to come and go, so we were able to go back to the condo for lunch, thereby saving a little money by not eating at Bubba Gump's or the pricey concession stands. There are several rides for young children, as well as thrill seekers, and you can't beat the view and ambience. We went out for some good pizza at Russo's NY Pizzeria that night, then home to put the kids to bed (late again, vacation style) and enjoy a drink on the balcony, wishing it weren't our last night. A great trip was had by all, and the kids can't stop talking about it. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with, and we really felt that the condo met, if not exceeded, our expectations. We will definitely plan to stay there again for our next Galveston vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a nice time despite all of the rain;( The condo was very nice and newly remodeled with nice furniture. I liked the fact that the parking was covered since it rained the whole time. It's a short walk to the elevator and a few steps and you are at the condo was nice since we brought our small kiddos. We enjoyed the covered balcony. We had a very relaxing time. Thank you for letting us stay there.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

I was very pleased with this condo! It was everything it says on the add and then some. I took my whole family all 5 of us were very comfortable, plenty of room, and the kids loved the bunkbeds. It was very quiet, we never heard any of the construction going on.The pools were wonderful and OMG beautiful! We were at the pool over the beach some days we were there all day. I will deffinatly return to this condo for all my future family vacations and just our weekend getaways!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Turn the key & step in to cool AC and a unit that's clean, clean, clean! There'll be beautiful morning sunrises & the fresh bay breeze as your coffee brews. If you like to cook or bake, the Landry's have a well-appointed kitchen so home cooking is a possibility. Your location is the west end of the seawall, away from all the heavy traffic & crowds, but within easy access to major highways. Whatever's your pleasure...the beaches, day trips to Houston, or taking in the various activities centered in history-rich Galveston, #206 is a good base to work from & return home to each day. This property is quiet and the grounds, clean (construction @ the front & west sides of the building were no problem). Lastly, the Landry's are wonderful to work with, and have a contact person on property, for meeting last minute needs. So place a check beside this property when planning your trip to the TX gulf coast. Kick back, relax, & smile.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

With us living in Florida now, this condo gives us a place to stay when we visit the kids and grandkids who live in the Houston area.
