It includes a newly remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, all kitchen utensils and towels, gas barbeque, gas convection stove, laundryroom too! Enjoy Satellite television and movies on the flat screen HDTV, DSL broadband for high speed wireless internet, games, and cards. FREE long distance inter-island and to the Mainland. Listen to the sound of the waves at night from the master bedroom. Newly furnished and decorated 9/2010. The 3 bedrooms each provide 250+ thread count linens and spa robes are provided. You can choose the Palm Room (Master), the old fashioned Hawaiian Quilt Room or the Surf Room.
It even has an outdoor bamboo shower with hot/cold water!
Just about 90 steps from the water on a private easement. Only a 15 minute walk to Champagne Pond. Or, when available, take the golf cart to the Pond. The tidepools are about 1 mile where you can snorkel and see colorful coral and exotic fish. Black sand beaches, fishing, surfing are close by too. It's 29 miles to Volcano National Park and a short drive to lava flow viewing (about 20 miles),or see the Lava Tree Park on the way in. Breath the "freshest, virgin air in the world", according to scientists. Visit numerous waterfalls and rainforests on this side of the island. And, we will share some of our own secret places to visit too!

Why the Owner Chose Kapoho
The Kapoho Bay is a beautiful turquoise blue color. Kapoho Beach Lots is a gated community which surrounds the bay and it offers a direct access to thermally heated Champagne Pond where we could swim and snorkel with the green sea turtles. It's also close to Pohoiki Bay where Art could surf his long board.
The Unique Benefits at this House
It's quiet and restful and very laid back. The nights are black and the stars are bright. There's no traffic noise, only the sound of the waves. It's close to awesome snorkeling in the Waiopae tidepools and only a few miles to the quaint village town of Pahoa. It's also only about 20 minutes to viewing the current lava flow.

Art and Joanie bought their vacation home while visiting the island. They had always wanted to retire in Hawaii and this was the time to start that process. While traveling the coast of the east side of the Hawaii, they fell in love with the rural atmosphere, the beautiful tunnel of trees, the rugged coastline and laid-back people of Puna. We decided then and there to make this part of Hawaii our home.
