Just completed a $20,000 update remodel. New wood floors on the second floor, new kitchen countertops, new HD flat screen tv's, new bathroom vanity, fresh paint and more! This 2300 sq ft lakefront home offers views of Buckeye Lake and evening sunsets. A large lakeside deck and an large over the water dock ,with swimming access makes our house a dream for families and couples alike. While other houses are nearby on either side of the property, large maple trees and good home design keep the house relatively private. The interior is decorated in a beach cottage with reclaimed hardwood floors, wood beams, natural light, a bright kitchen with a view and an open floor plan for entertaining groups. The large master bedroom has able room for reading a good book while the lake breeze and views relax you. It has a luxurious queen bed and a sofa chair hide-a-bed ( twin) . 2nd bedroom has 2 comfortable double beds, third bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. All of the bedrooms have comfortable bedding with cotton sheets, cotton quilts and cozy pillows. Coffee is included so that you can enjoy your first morning waking up at the lake house. Truly one of life’s simple pleasures. Pontoon boat is available for rent, all the boat and swim toys, Plenty of parking at the house and a boat ramp nearby to launch your own boat. Home comes with stocked kitchen, linens and outdoor furniture and a beautiful view. For vacationers out of state, it is worth the drive or flight to Columbus Ohio. Buckeye Lake is only 30 minutes from the airport. Summer and Fall 2013 rates. All rates are for 3 days weekends and weeks. Pontoon boat and kayaks are available to rent. This is the only property like it for rent on the lake!

We had a great time at Annie's house. It was too cool to swim, but I wouldn't have hesitated to jump into the lake off of the dock! We didn't need all of the bedrooms that the house had to offer (just two of us), but it would be great for a family outing. The wrap-around bar surrounding the television is where we spent a lot of time - it was really fun!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Additional fees for renting kayaks and pontoon boat. $60/day for three kayaks. $220/day for pontoon boat, 3 day minimum.

Cancellation policy:
$175 cancellation fee will be charged on all cancellations. Cancellations prior to 60 days before check-in will be accepted with a $300 administrative fee. Cancellations less than 60-30 days will be reimbursed at 50%.

Buckeye Lake is a beautiful lake and we wanted a vacation home that we could use frequently. If you are from Ohio, this is a great location for a vacation without the expense and time of flying. If you are from out of state, Ohio is a best kept secret!

Feb. 2013 $20,000 remodel update! I enjoy the sunsets, the calm morning waters for waterskiing and watching the cranes fly by.
Our family loves to float in the water off the dock and to tube off the pontoon boat all afternoon. Our home has a beautiful deck right off the waterfront living room with large maple trees for shade. Our large dock area is great for hanging out and enjoying the view too. We also have a nice breeze in the morning and both sun and shade throughout the day. There is nothing like waking up in the morning at the lake!
