The Townhome on Jones is pet friendly, so don’t leave them behind! The Townhome on Jones is conveniently located .35 miles to our local dog park (right down Jones St.) & .25 miles to the top of our largest urban park, Forsyth Park. Savannah is definitely a 'dog town' and many of our local favorite restaurants will allow you to dine alfresco with your pet. The best part? You can share your vacation with your pup as you stroll together through the historic district, squares, & River Stree!
Location:
The home is located on Jones Street, one of the most famed streets in America! The townhome is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Staying here offers a true pedestrian experience as many of the home's garden levels are now set up as small boutiques, salons, or antique salons. Stroll along the cobblestoned road with your pup, watch artists paiting the scenery, or peak into a secret garden - there is so much to do and see all within walking distance!
Jones Street is one of the cities old Savannah cobblestoned streets lined with ornamental trees and amazing historic homes. The gas lamp lighting the front door at our home will take you back but our modern conveniences will wow you!
Our Historic Townhome:
The Savannah Townhome on Jones was totally renovated in 2010 yet the historic character is still very much in tact. One of the many perks of our townhome is that you have your own back deck (1st level) & a great roof deck (3rd level) to take in views of the neighborhood!
Stay as connected as you like to with our high speed internet and WiFi, or just sit back and let the world pass you by. If eating out isn’t really your style, stay in and enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, complete with everything you need to make amazing meals without ever leaving home. Or bring a chef in to cook for your group - we can help you plan!
First Floor:
The first floor or 'parlor level' offers an open and modern space while retaining the building's historic features. You will notice the heart pine flooring, pocket doors, and original floor-to-ceiling restored windows (with black out shades). There is ample seating for your group on our sectional ouch and the convenience of a large flat LCD flat screen TV, & gas fireplace.
The LIVING ROOM is open to the DINING ROOM - a great feature for a home of this age! The Dining Room also features another gas fireplace as well as a bar with wine storage / cooler. The charming farm table table seats 8 and is open to the Chef's Kitchen.
The renovated KITCHEN features high end stainless steel appliances, recycled concrete countertops, and all of the cookware you might need for your vacation or long term stay including spices and professional gauge cookware. We even have biscuits for our pet guests! For our short term guests, we do offer our Busy Bee Buzz Blend as part of our coffee and tea service.
The SUNROOM & DECK are just off the kitchen. The SUNROOM provides access to the covered DECK which has outdoor seating for four as well as a gas grill and views of the courtyard. There is a Queen sleeper sofa in the sunroom with an additional TV. A great thing about the sunroom is that there is a sliding door that can give those staying in the room more privacy. There is also a full bath connected to this room.
SECOND FLOOR:
The grand staircase takes you to the 2nd floor MASTER SUITE and laundry room. The Master Suite offers more restored sunny windows, heart pine floors, and is entirely open so you can spread out. There is a huge open coset, cozy King platform bed, another large TV with Direct TV access and DVD player. The en suite spa bathoom is a masterpiece. The bathroom offers a serene doulbe stand up shower with river stone accents as well as a jetted tub.
The LAUNDRY offers front loading washer and dryer as well as a laundry tub.
THIRD FLOOR
The LOFT is the former home of the photographer's work shace and studio. This is one of the most open and amazing spaces in the Historic District and was just featured on the 2012 Historic Savananh Foundation's Wine Tour in May.
The space is entirely open and can sleep 6 - there are 2 Queen beds as well as another sleeper sofa. This is a great flexible set up for families traveling together - we've been told its a great place for the 'teen hangout' by some of our former guests.
This 3rd floor also features (yet another) LCD TV and DVD player, a powder room with space to get ready for your day, and a guest favorite - a mini kitchen with a mini fridge and microwave that leads out to the beautiful roof deck with views out over the neighborhood.
This townhome is on THREE LEVELS & DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR.

The pictures don't lie. The townhouse on Jones street was huge and perfect for our family vacation. The great kitchen and living room were perfect for relaxing with the family. The 2nd and 3rd floor were over a 1,000 square feet and perfect luxury. The master bathroom is spectacular! We truly enjoyed our stay at Jones and would love to go back soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I planned a trip for 7 girls for a weekend getaway and was so excited when I found this property! I was very happy with the management and everything about renting the property was so easy! They provide tons of info about Savannah that was really helpful, and including some recommendation on where to go. We were all amazed at how beautiful the town home is and loved everything about it.The inside of the home is stunning and spacious. It was also in such a convenient place, we walked down to the river a few times and the grocery store was close by. All of the amenities are wonderful, including a wine fridge & tons of gas fireplaces. We also opted to do the cooking demo and I would highly recommend it! The people were great and the food was delicious (and had healthy twists). The listing was accurate, the photos are accurate (although the place is a lot bigger then it looks!), and the property was very well maintained. I would absolutely recommend the property!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

I absolutely LOVED the townhouse! Everything was perfect! Katherine did a great job setting up flowers for us as well as some craft beer for my husband! The townhouse is located on a beautiful cobblestone street very close to everything Savannah has to offer. I couldn't ask for a better anniversary weekend! From the beginning email asking about the property to the very ending everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much! Stayed at Townhouse on Jones for a girl's weekend! The pictures just don't do it justice. If you are looking for that true historic Savannah experience then a stay here is an absolute must! The townhouse is huge, spacious, clean, comfortable, chic and relaxing. The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the house was stocked with whatever you needed. My favorite thing to do was sit on couch by front window and watch the people and carriages go by.... Step around the corner to Clary's (cafe) for a bite of lunch or wonderful breakfast. Within walking distance to everything! Oh and don't get me started on the master shower.... heaven! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to do it again sometime. Laurie was there when we needed her and was most gracious!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I rented this house with a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette party weekend and we absolutely LOVED it. The decor of the house is so attractive and there is plenty of space for a large group. There are only 2 showers but that wasn't an issue for 10 girls getting ready since there is a lot of counter and mirror space. I would definitely rent this house again if I returned to Savannah!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We loved our stay at 119 East Jones Street! The accommodations were grand and we had everything we needed except our own food. We had an issue with internet access, but found your tech's number in the welcome booklet, called him at 9pm, and he was there fixing it within the hour! Our teens loved the 3rd floor, complete with balcony, and I am sure that they solved the problems of the world as they talked til the wee hours of the morning. Thank you for a venue for a multi-generational gathering to celebrate the graduation of our special niece.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

I was thoroughly impressed with our stay. Our real estate agent was great and provided lots of information about the place and Savannah. Was timely and very welcoming. The place was just as great. Gorgeous on the inside and wide open for an easy stay. Location was perfect. Close to downtown and other great areas of Savannah. About the owner: The owner was a former photographer turned pilot who now resides in Florida and uses his home as a place for guests to discover the beauty and mystery of Downtown Savannah. The property is being managed by Laurie d. at Busy Bee Vacations while the owner is obtaining his pilot's license out of state.
Why the Owner Chose Savannah:
The renovation work happened when the owner was still involved with photography - you can see old fittings for photography equiptment attached to the Loft's ceiling. The flexibility to create a true Live-Work space was very appealing to him. All custom fittings were done to his taste and specification and we truely believe that there is no other property like this in Downtown.
The Townhome on Jones is in the HEART of Savannah on prestigious Jones Street. There is really no other explanation - the location is ideal for enjoying all that this rich city has to offer.
