Let the sights and sounds of the ocean lure you in at Siren's Song! Relax on the large covered deck while you watch beautiful sunrise and sunset on this second row beach-view home. It's just a short walk to the beautiful west-end beach (100 yards). Sirens Song is on the end of a quiet street.
You will find ample covered parking, a large covered deck, and a perfectly laid out floor-plan at Sirens Song! The whole house speaker system ensures you will always be able to dance to your own beat. The master bedroom has a queen bed, deck access, and a large double-headed shower. The first bedroom has a set of XL-twin bunks and a double futon. The second bedroom has a set of full bunks plus a twin trundle. There is also a queen memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room.
Spend your days walking on the beach, playing in the surf, and relaxing in the sand. Or, head into Galveston for a fun-filled day at Moody Gardens, the Historic Strand, or the new Galveston Pleasure Pier (opening early summer 2012). Grill some steaks on the charcoal grill, or cook up a storm in the large, well-equipped kitchen. Galveston has many wonderful restaurants, too!
Feel lost without internet access? Not to worry, Sirens Song has AT&T uVerse broadband internet with wifi access for all your devices. The access key will be provided upon check-in.
Sirens Song is a wonderful place to visit year round. During the warm summer months, the covered deck and gulf breezes will keep you comfortable. During the cooler winter months, the back of the house blocks the harsh north winds so you can still enjoy sitting outside with your coffee and cocoa. When it rains in the spring and fall you won't need a four-wheel drive vehicle to get in and out of the driveway. Not all homes in the area have a concrete driveway and parking area, but Sirens Song does!

We spent four nights at Sirens Song and can't wait to have the chance to go back. Very nice property with everything you will need for a great relaxing vacation. We really enjoyed the entertainment system that plays throughout the house and on the deck. We spend most of our time on the deck enjoying the views and the breeze off the ocean. The master suite was very nice, the big shower with dual heads was a great extra. The kitchen was very well equiped with everything you would need to cook any type of meal. We enjoyed the three french doors that gave you a view of the beach from the kitchen, living and master suite. The additional bedrooms were very nice sized and will easily accomodate 4 kids in each. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves even during spring break week. Throw your beach umbrella and swim suit in the car that is all you will need for a great time at Sirens Song.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

About the owner: We are a busy family of five that live in the DFW area. We enjoy outdoor activities, hiking, naturewalking. We also love all types of music, mainly listening, but we've been know to break out the guitar and piano for impromptu sing-alongs!
Why the Owner Chose Terramar Beach:
We first came to Galveston in February 2011 after the two week snow storm! We fell in love with Galveston, the people, the places, and, more than anything, the soothing sound of the ocean! The house we stayed at was in Terramar Beach, and we loved the laid-back West End of the Island. The community amenities can't be beat! We love that a short drive into town takes us to so many restaurants (you HAVE to eat at The Spot!), activities (can't wait for the Pleasure Pier), and historical locations (1877 Tall Ship Elissa is our favorite).
The Unique Benefits at this House:
When you come to Galveston, you come for the beach, right? At Sirens Song the beach is a short walk away. One of the things (in addition to the view) that sold us on this property was the indoor/outdoor speaker system. We've set up a receiver and speaker selector switch and included a cord so you can hook up your ipod/mp3 player and listen in any bedroom, the living room, on the upstairs deck, or downstairs while you're grilling!
Our perfect day includes waking up with the sun and sitting on the deck with a hot cup of coffee. Next comes a walk on the beach and shelling. (Check out the shells in the bathrooms we've collected!) Splashing in the surf and building sandcastles is always fun. Then the wonderful smell and taste of burgers made on the grill while listening to some tunes on the radio. And finally, the beautiful sunset can't be beat.
