- This area of the Big Island offers impeccable weather with mostly bright sunny days. Short (less that 10 minutes) to Kohala Coast beaches such as Hapuna and Mauna Kea and world class resorts. Drive up the road to the charming town of Waimea also known as Kamuela. This is cowboy country with shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Also home to HPA (Hawaii Preparatory Academy) which is an independent coeducational school that has two campuses in the town of Waimea on the island of Hawaii. Almost equally as close is the small town of Kawaihae which has several excellent resteraunts and shops. ...moreless

Ahhh... The place to be for rest and relaxation
We had a wonderful time at your villa. Not single issue. Kitchen and the rest of the house is perfect. The amenities were numerous and the experience was so easy and worry free, we will be back again. Many great beaches and shopping just a quick hop away but yet you still have all the privacy of your own home. We cannot recommend your villa more. thanks again DK

A little bit of everything!
A little bit of everything!
What a perfect place to spend our vacation on the Big Island! The view from the house was excellent, waking up to the beautiful Kohala coastline and the view of all the volcanos and stars from the upper deck was amazing!!!! Good place to go to our favorite beaches but so convenient to just jump in the pool and hot tub too. The house was very spacious and held our whole group really well. I think the best part was that the adults could really just relax here and the kids never got bored. It got a little windy sometimes but coming from the 100+ degree back home made it enjoyable. You know and I have to say it was refreshing to be a little bit away from the crowds of the resorts and more populated areas on the island, but when we wanted to go to those places it was still pretty easy. I highly recommend this home, it was definitely worth it, especially if you have a bigger group like us.
