  We stayed at Villa Lunada for one week in March. This villa is absolutely amazing! We are a family of six - 2 adults and 4 teenage daughters. We were all blown away with the home, the services provided, the views, etc. I can't say enough about how wonderful the trip was. We arrived at the PV airport and were promptly picked up by our car service. Very professional and friendly! When we arrived at the villa we were met my the staff with margaritas, snacks for the girls, and lots of smiles :) We were all in our bathing suits & relaxing very quickly! The home owners of this villa are friendly, helpful, and responsive. We were able to meet Greg - great guy and his wife, Susan, was patient and helpful with all my questions the months ahead of time in planning the trip. Every day was beautiful and everyday we were served amazing meals by Julio and Maribelle. The The staff was amazing - my daughters loved them! It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken - being so spoiled with the amazing views, the attention from the staff, and the peacefulness and privacy of the villa. We will definitely be going back!!

  I have been traveling to Punta Mita for several years. During that time, I normally surf the perfect waves of El Faro (The Lighthouse). It is a great right point break that goes for a few hundred yards. Rarely will you find more than a couple people in the water. I have often surfed it alone or with 1 or 2 friends. It remains uncrowded because the only access to this surf spot is by boat or if you are staying at Villa Lunada. On every occasion, I have looked up the hill and dreamt of one day staying in one of the 4 homes overlooking the break. I'm happy to say that dream became reality in December. We landed in PVR at 2:00 pm. Ulysses, the concierge, arranged for a Subarban to meet us at the airport. We were arrived at Villa Lunada less than 1 hour later where we met the owner Greg. As he showed us around the home (as beautiful as the pictures on the website are, they don't do it Justice) the chef prepared the best guacamole I have ever had. (no exaggeration). We quickly changed and were surfing by 4:00 pm. 2 hours after getting off the airplane. The home is amazing. The owners appear to have thought of everything. I cannot think of anything that could make it any better. From soaking in the hot tub after a day of surfing or round of golf to sitting around the fire pit as the moon rises. The outdoor showers, the infinity pool, the wrap around balconies with the priceless views, the sand volley ball court. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Our own personal chef who would prepare the most amazing breakfast and lunch. I have been using VRBO to rent homes for about 8 years. Villa Lunada has set a new standard. It may have ruined me, as I fear any where else I stay will pale in comparison. This was a dream vacation which I look forward to returning to again. Thank you.

  An amazing spot! Villa Lunada was a welcome retreat and we were relaxed from the moment we arrived. Super great feel to the home with beautiful design between indoor and outdoor space. Rooms were lovely with comfortable beds and very quiet to the rest of the house. The showers were the best with outrageous views of the surf outside (which was enough of a draw in and of itself). Outdoor showers for coming in from the ocean or out of the pool were refreshing. Great kitchen in the morning, breakfast and dining tables all had a great feel for different meals. Decks to practice yoga and lounge with books or igadgets. Pool was a great addition for dips overlooking the ocean. The stay was easy and all were very accommodating. A return spot - one of the best stays we've ever had.

  Rather than write another review restating the amazing things that all the other reviewers have already set out, I will just ratify those reviews. The place is epic. We scored tons of uncrowded waves, had great food, and all in an amazing setting. Restaurants, golf, and services close by too but no real need to leave the house. Literally - something for everybody. My very discerning group will be returning.

  We have been travelling to Punta de Mita over the last 10 years with families and on our annual guys trip. This was the first time we have stayed at Villa Lunada and to say that it was epic is a gross understatement. I won't elaborate much on the surfing suffice to say that the Villa is within walking distance of two great breaks which we surfed with 8 or less people in the water each day. The walk to the point is across the back lawn and down some stairs. I don't know if you can get much closer. We were provided a chef that created killer breakfast and lunch each day. The Villa itself is perfect for large groups or families looking for privacy and room to spread out. Each room is very large with great views of the ocean. The main living room area is very comfortable with 360 degree views of the bay and town. We took full advantage of the little details the owner included in construction. The outdoor showers, the volleyball court, the surf rack, are all little things that make this place a truly special surf retreat. In the future staying anywhere else will be out of the question after staying at Villa Lunada.

  Villa lunada set within the gated four seasons property is an amazing escape to paradise. The photos don't do it justice. The perfect place to relax and wind down. Enjoy the amazing sunrise and surf. Punta Mita and villa lunada. It doesn't get any better. A bargain at twice the price

  I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation time at Villa Lunda. What an incredible home!. My bedroom was unbelievable...extrememly comfortable bed and air conditioned room. One of my favorite places in this villa was the gigantic indoor outdoor shower in my room... overlooking the beautiful view and surf! Another thing I loved about Villa Lunada was the indoor outdoor living experience. We were so comfortable sitting on the coaches in the family room looking out over the pool and at the full moon in the evenings. No windows or doors needed. I also loved the kitchen. Well equipped and big enough for everyone to help with the cooking. It also opens up to the incredible outside ocean views. I would definitely recommend Villa Lunada....so peaceful and relaxing for everyone. Can't wait to get back there! Oh and did I mention the organic garden or the sand volleyball court as you came in through the gate? Thanks for creating such a tranquil environment!

  We couldn't have asked for a more magical setting in which to spend time with friends. Surrounded by superb surf breaks, the Villa is luxurious yet informal and provides the perfect location for surfers Mornings and evenings were surreal as we watched the light of the rising sun and moon reflected on the ocean and infinity pool, Absolutely spectacular! The Villa can accommodate several couples and there is plenty of room for children if you are looking for a family adventure. We can't wait to go back!

  Two families with small kids travelled together to Villa Lunada on vacation for a week. We loved this house, we loved the staff, and we loved our vacation at Villa Lunada. While researching the right place for our stay, the owner was very responsive to our questions---during his camping trip, no less! Every detail was in place from the airport transportation, golf carts and surfboards at the house, meals and margaritas...we wanted for nothing. It was like having a luxury hotel all to ourselves - from the super comfortable beds and luxurious linens to the friendly and accommodating staff. Chef Mario is top notch for dinners in. Ulises, the concierge, appeared with contact lens solution about 20 minutes after the request! We can't say enough about the staff. The view is amazing, and our group loved the access to the surfbreaks close by. Also the resident beach club was perfect and a nice change of pace. We all felt completely relaxed the entire trip and hope to make it an annual trip!

  We just returned from our annual girls surf trip in Punta de Mita this year. But this was the tops! Villa Lunada is the absolute paradise -- from every detail with Lulu the cook, Ulises the concierge, golf carts out front, the weather and waves. We have been coming for 6 years in a row and cannot recommend this place enough.
