Lovely two bedroom cottage that sleeps 6-8 on Rose Lake (Lake of The Woods) in Coldwater (only 90 miles from Toledo, 50 miles north of Fort Wayne and a few hours east of Chicago) located off of Route 69 near the 80-90 turnpike just north of Angola, Indiana into Michigan. There are plenty of quiet streets nearby for walks and bike-rides. Coldwater is only 10 miles north with restaurants, theatres and grocery stores. Angola has an outlet mall and many more restaurants.
This is our clean, nicely decorated, second home, not just a rental cottage. We only rent a few times a year to help cover the expenses. $695 a week (weeks are preferred) or $395 for a weekend (mainly in the Spring & Fall). Cleaning fee of $60 additional. The house has two private bedrooms, both with queen size beds, plus two fold out couches in separate living areas that close off from each other. We also have a toddler-size mattress for small children. The window air conditioner in the sunroom cools the entire house, but we usually keep the windows/doors open for fresh air.
The cottage is across the street from the lake, and therefore has a very large back yard for bonfires and room for children to play while you relax on the private deck- with NO next-door neighbors and a field behind! The grill is available for use and you may store your water toys in the shed. The fire pit out back is great after a long day of playing in the lake or taking a canoe ride (provided for guests).
You will have access to the dock for a boat(s) or just to swim and fish off of. The dock/lake frontage has a grassy area that you can have picnics on and set up lawn chairs by the water. This area is caddy-corner from the cottage, across the street. You can view the lake from the front picture window, but the only unobstructed view is from the lake-front, grassy area. About the owner: My name is Casey, and my husband, Ryan, and I have 3 children. Ryan is a boilermaker at RMF, and I work at Brooks Insurance Agency in commercial P&C Sales. We have been managing and investing in real estate since 2002. We love to travel and look forward to our family vacations to our cottage each summer.

This cottage was the perfect purchase for our family- we enjoy having bonfires in the backyard, hanging out in the grassy area by the dock, having cookouts, relaxing in the remodeled living room and den, sleeping in on weekends, playing kickball in the large yard, going for bikerides, taking the pontoon boat out and swimming in the shallow area off the dock.
