This home is a quaint, California bungalow style cottage with lots of personality and privacy.(...and mountain views!) If you stay at our house, you won't be hidden away in a sterile complex. Instead you will be in a great neighborhood with lots of things to do for both grown-ups, and kids. Bring your hiking boots, and your bathing suit! This house is perfectly situated between the mountains and the sea.
Our two bedroom home has a very large yard and a patio with mountain views where you can enjoy your coffee or tea in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. Pick some oranges from the tree and make some fresh squeezed juice.
The house is centrally located, one mile from the beach, and one mile from the base of Santa Ynez mountain range. With nearly perfect weather year round, it's no surprise that Carpinteria attracts tourists from all over the world. It's one of the last beach towns in Southern California which has maintained its small town charm, and quaint atmosphere.
From our house you can take a short 10 minute walk downtown and to the beach, or shell out 25 cents for the "Seaside Shuttle" which passes by the house every 20 minutes. We are just off the main street where you can find many interesting shops and restaurants. There is also a large park just down the street.
We take great pride in our home, and we will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Let us know if you have any special requests during your stay. Since we have a little daughter, we can transform the house into an ideal place for you and any children traveling with you. Our second bedroom is complete with a double deck, bunk bed, both the upper and lower mattresses are 6 ft in length.
We have received positive responses from all guests who have stayed in our house. We are also happy to open our home to you.
Santa Barbara is a short 10 minute drive via Route 101 North, Ventura is 15 minutes off the 101 South.
