Our beautiful Cozumel beach front home (which we call 'La Ballena') is available for your enjoyment year-round as a vacation rental property. Located on the quiet North end of the island, there's always easy transportation to and from the main part of town, either via taxi or rental car.
La Ballena is located on the island of Cozumel, which is just a few miles off the Yucatan Peninsula in the Mexican Riviera. Direct flights are available from major U.S. markets throughout the season through Apple charters or ATA; Northwest Airlines, Continental and American also have flights with stop-overs in Houston, and Delta has flights with stop-overs in Atlanta.
Of course, many airlines and flights are also available through Cancun, including American, Mexicana and United, with an additional flight on AeroCozumel. It is also a short cab ride from Cancun airport to Playa Del Carmen with express ferry to Cozumel. Both options are short and inexpensive and can help you easily get to our Cozumel rental home.
We will be happy to share our recommendations for our favorite restaurants and activities. A complete guide is located in the home in our 'information' book. The island has several large U.S. style grocery stores, with delis, bakeries, and most American amenities and items available.

This house is wonderful! 3 levels with comfy beds and plenty of amenities. Towels, blankets, pillows, 4 bathrooms, wii-fi, stereo, tv. you name it. Full kitchen and outside grill that were very well used. The pool is fabulous with a beautiful view of the ocean. We played frisbee in the calm ocean and did plenty of water exercising. La Ballena is a short cab ride to town with cabs always waiting right outside the gate. This is truely the best place to stay on Cozumel, whether your with your your family, a group of friends or just the two of you! I have stayed here many times and would highly recommend it to everyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great property. Love new water filter system and refrigerator. Our 5th time in this property in Cozumel. Managers are really great to work with and very accommodating.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My time here at this property was nothing short of fabulous! The ocean front location is outstanding and the pool in between the house and the ocean allows one to be in the warm waters while comfortably experiencing the ocean views (and the exquisite sunsets) while swimming in warmer water surrounded by family and friends (and, perhaps, a fine barbeque)! The accommodations are wonderful and the whole setting encourages relaxation and just a "fun" time! You will thoroughly enjoy your vacation here at La Ballena!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
