Comfy & Cozy Cabin with a Convenient Location. Perfect for a family vacation!

The whole experience from booking the cabin to checking out was absolutely flawless. I was put in charge of coordinating a last minute family trip together up to Mammoth. Part of my family were staying up in Mammoth Mountain Inn, but I needed a place for 8, so decided to see if I can rent a cabin nearby. I came across this listing and contacted the owner who was very responsive and easy to work with from start to finish. He sent very clear and concise instructions on how to check in and check out. The cabin itself was spacious and had so many personal touches to the inside that it made you feel at home right away. It was clean and well-maintained with enough towels and sheets. The location is also very convenient. It is only a couple miles away from the grocery store, downtown and about 5 miles away from the ski lifts. One thing I wish we found out sooner is that it is about 1 mile away from Mammoth Mountain Brewery. So awesome! In short, I don't think my family and I could have had a better experience or stayed in a better place. It turned out to be a very special and perfect family vacation which wouldn't have happened if I didn't come across this condo! Thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much! Hope to see you soon.

Very comfortable, glad the owners could accommodate our somewhat last-minute booking. Easily slept all 7 of us (plenty of pillows, blankets, towels ...), the location was convenient as well. The rates were very competitive, I would definitely recommend to a friend!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We wanted two nights at Mammoth, for the 2012 Mammoth Mud Run, in a condo which would accept our dogs and this fitted our request perfectly! Although very well-loved, the condo is clean with many home comforts. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything works. There were even videos, board games and books to enjoy, plus a cute homemade local information binder. The water was hot, the towels were fresh and plentiful and the neigbourhood was perfect for walking the dogs around. The location is great - exactly 1 mile from the village and ideal to walk as there is a wide and safe sidewalk/cycle path all the way there, so no need for a designated driver if you want to enjoy the nightlife in the village! Parking is one car per condo right outside the building; very convenient. We would recommend this to anyone, but especially families or couples travelling with pets as pet-friendly condos are hard to come by and this one is lovely.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, pet owners.

I just wanted to say we had a great time for 4 nights in this Condo. first off the owner was very easy to get a hold of and he went beyond what he needed to do for us. The condo was nice. the parking was easy and i was able to park my 20 ft boat on overflow parking above without hassle. Everything in the condo worked. It is a little older but has a nice home feeling. if you want new then i guess you need to go spend the money on a new place. Location was good. only minutes to restaurants and stores. very quiet area. I would definatley stay here again i would recomend it for anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My family and I had a great time in Mammoth. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids ages 7,10 and 14 as well as 2 dogs. I almost hate to rave about this place, part of me wants to keep it a secret, but that wouldn't be fair to the owners. It is clean, quiet, everything worked and it is in a great location. For my family and I it was perfect and within our limited budget. This was a great family vacation and the dogs being with us made it even better. A big Thank You to the owners.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great place to stay for our group. We also stayed next door last year with a larger group and had a great time. Only drawback - thou weather related - it took a long time for the rooms to warm up and we didn't expect to have to dig out the wood from the snow on Memorial Day weekend! Will return again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners.
Owner response: Thank you! We value all renters, especially our returning guests. We look forward to your next stay.

Your place was very comfortable and our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. A little snow on the peaks and brisk mornings made the trip. We had no problems, we signed the Guest Log and I wouldn't do a thing to improve your place. Thanks again for everything.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
