You'll be in the Grand Pavilion area, the center of activity for Wild Dunes Resort. (The address is 24 Grand Pavilion.) It's just a few steps to the Boardwalk Inn's pool (heated in cool weather) and sheltered outdoor dining porch, the Grand Pavilion's two ocean-front pools and the boardwalk, where you'll find a snack bar, ice-cream parlor, bar and beverage service, and a souvenir shop. There are lounge chairs and complimentary towel service beside the pools, as well as rental chairs and umbrellas at the beach.
Nearby, within a three-minute walk, are many activities you and your family will enjoy: the Boardwalk Inn and Sweeetgrass Pavilion Conference Center, along with the Village, where you will find condominiums, the Wild Dunes Reception center (housing our fitness and business centers), the Sand and Sea Spa, Hudson's Market, and The Lettered Olive Restaurant. A few steps further will bring you to the Harbor Golf Course, the Tennis Center, the Deli, and the SWIM CENTER POOL (also heated in cool weather). And, in the midst of all this, your rental home will be on a quiet cul-de-sac with limited traffic.
By choosing our house for your vacation, you'll automatically receive a Wild Dunes Resort package of amenities AT NO EXTRA CHARGE TO YOU. Your package includes a mid-week cleaning with linens and towel service, and post-departure cleaning. No SPORTSCARD necessary -- our rental rate includes all the resort amenities!
You'll be treated as guests of Wild Dunes Resort, and will have access to four-star amenities and activities that are not available to guests renting from non-affilliates. Our special relationship with Wild Dunes Resort is your FREE ticket to the Grand Pavilion's oceanside pools and the Swim Center pool, along with three hours of FREE court time each day at the Tennis Center and unlimited FREE use of the Fitness Center.
Additionally, your children will be able to participate in our exciting Island Adventure Program that includes daily activities for children ages 3-5, 6-10, and 11-13. There are also COMPLIMENTARY evening activities for your teens and parties for the entire family.
We hope you'll find our house inviting, relaxing, and just right for your beach vacation. On the ground level, there's parking for 3 cars; up one flight you'll find the great room and kitchen, plus one bedroom and bath; and on the third level is the master bedroom and bath along with a third bedroom and bath. The entire house has been renovated and professionally redecorated with new high-quality furniture, brand new mattresses and bedding, appliances, fixtures, and accessories that are meant to create a casual and relaxing vacation spot for you.
You will find colorful fabrics and artwork to reflect our love for the Charleston area. Other pieces reflect our connections with Colorado (where our daughter lives) and West Virginia (where we live). The house has been awarded a PREMIER rating, which is the highest ranking awarded by Wild Dunes.
The great room and kitchen areas have hardwood floors with area rugs, while the rest of the house is carpeted wall-to-wall. Off the living area is a screened porch which has an ocean view and is shaded in the afternoon. The dining area has a glass-top table that seats 6 with room to spare, and there are three bar stools at the kitchen counter. In the kitchen, which is open to the great room, you'll find brand new stainless steel appliances, sile-stone countertops, and everything you need to cook and serve any meal; although there are so many fabulous restaurants in the area, it's hard to get motivated to cook!
The main-floor bedroom has a queen-size bed, a spacious walk-in closet, and a bathroom with combination tub and shower. There is a partial ocean view from the sunset-facing windows. On the third level, the master bedroom features a cathedral ceiling, king-size bed, private deck with a beautiful view of the ocean, and morning sunshine.
The master bathroom includes a double sink, separate commode room, jetted tub and glass-enclosed shower; there's also a walk-in closet. The third bedroom has two double beds and a private bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. The cathedral ceiling gives the room an airy feeling while large windows provide spectacular sunset views and peeks at the ocean.

If you are looking for a great place to staythis is it! We have just returned from staying here and could not have been more pleased. It is convenient to everything, including pools, ocean(with greats views from the master deck), salons, restaurants and shops. This home was spotless, it has a great kitchen and the furnishings throughout were top-notch. Bedrooms are spaced out nicely allowing privacy to all and it was so easy to walk to the beach, the pools, tennis courts or golf courses. We had our daughter's wedding reception on the lawn just outside the back door and the rehearsal party was here as well. It was just wonderful. Don't hesitate to contact the owners of this home. They are easy to work with and you will be glad you did. You will not be disappointed.

Rather than relying totally on Internet pictures and narrative descriptions when we were shopping for a vacation accommodation, to a large degree my wife and I based our decision to rent this condo for a month upon communications with its owners. They answered our questions with straightforward information. For example, one said their condo would be sparkling clean. And it was! No need to wash sheets and towels, either, she said, “just call the ‘front desk’ and they’ll bring you clean ones and take the used ones away.” And they did! And at no charge!! If you’re a car buff there’s a garage under the condo to protect your car’s finish. For Internet heads there’s an Internet signal both strong and password secured. Lounge lizards will find the beds and other furniture supportive and comfortable. Book worms will rejoice over lamps in each room with three-way bulbs. (No more eye strain.) Wannabe cooks, like me, will be happy with the well-equipped kitchen. For gym rats, the Wild Dunes Resort fitness center is also well-equipped, close by, and free. And beach-combers will, of course, find the beautiful beach a stone’s-throw away. Rent this place. You’ll be glad you did.

A very nice unit in a very nice resort. Spacious, nicely updated, and very convenient location. Best compliment though goes to honesty of housekeeping and resort staff. We realized at the airport on our departure that we had left my wife's rolling bag and a dress bag from Belk with several new clothing items in it in the upstairs bedroom. I could not reach the staff until the next day. They had the belongings in their lost and found, promptly shipped it out and we had the items 3 days later. It is so nice to deal with an honest housekeeper and resort staff.

We loved our stay in your condo. The condo was so pretty, every room decorated with so much taste. The kids loved the Jacuzzi and there was plenty of room for all six of us.. Except for the first day when the house was not really clean, one phone call and you Judy worked a miracle and the Hotel people came and cleaned, we had no more complains. The place is quiet, the beach is nearby, if you want you can go for excursions or if you prefer you can stay home and enjoy what the place has to offer. We would highly recommend this place to any family.

We so enjoyed our month at 24 Grand Pavilion. The condo is absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable. The color schemes in every rooom are so tasteful, we felt very pampered and welcome. It was great to be so near the Pavilion Pools, hotel and swim center. And most of all, to be right near the ocean for those morning walks and afternoon runs.. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us

Dear Judy & Bill, Thank you for the use of your Wild Dunes home. This was our first trip to Isle of Palms and hopefully not our last due largely to the clean, comfortable atmostphere you have created at 24 Grand Pavilion. I don't need to add additional comments regarding its wonderful location to the beach, pools, pavilion, and golf courses. I would like to comment however, on the presence of your generous hospitality we felt was so evident everywhere, especially your helpful notes concerning our safety in the shower to the TV local channel listings and internet access. I enjoyed your well-organized kitchen; all your personal touches; and we were all facinated with your map decorations. We have stayed up and down the coast of the Carolinas for several years and always hoped to find that "home away from home". We found that feeling at 24 Grand Pavilion. Thank you again for making our stay so comfortable and fun. Mimi Bertke, Toledo, OH

We have had a wonderful month at 24 Grand Pavilion (month of February, 2007). Although this is our first time renting the property, the improvements are obvious – fresh paint, brand new double hung windows, new living room furnishings and bed linens in first floor bedroom, new carpeting, all new kitchen appliances and more. The unit is in top notch condition. Furnishings are very tasteful in appealing colors and patterns.Access to the beach is superb, with just a few minutes walk until you are on an expansive beach with wonderful sunrises, sunsets, changing tide patterns, changing sky colors, and nature at its best. We played golf at both the Harbor and Links golf courses which are well maintained. Of course the last two holes along the Ocean on the Links course are like you’ve died and gone to heaven for golfers – especially on a beautiful sunny day with a Carolina Blue sky.
