  My wife and I are just completing (this morning) a fantastic 3 day stay in Montecito. Josee was a wonderful host---after introducing us to the cottage, she left us in complete privacy. Beautiful garden, extremely comfortable and attractive 1 bedroom unit. As much as i enjoyed the area, couldn't wait to get back "home" to this lovely place each night. Highly recommend this beautiful place just walking distance from butterfly beach, Jeannine's and "downtown" Montecito

  My Wife and I stayed at the Mill House while attending a wedding in Montecito and we could of not asked for one thing more! We were greeted with warm open arms, lush landscaping and a very comfortable cottage that was impeccable and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owner goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have stayed in many places off of VRBO and this one is definitely a true gem! If you are planning a trip to Santa Barbara look no further!!!!

  We spent 4 nights at Josee's place and were treated like royalty. She provided us with snacks, juices and milk and cream for coffee. It was my wife and daughter and the accommodations were perfect. Two nice size tvs, comfortable bed, great shower, and plenty of amenities to make our trip perfect. We will absolutely come back again And recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice cottage to call home while you are exploring SB or Montecito.

  We had an amazing location to stay and work. What a beautiful, tranquil setting this place has. It was wonderful to have such a large room. The living room and patio are so spacious as well. I appreciate the owner and do intend on doing this again. We had to have a works space where ever we stayed at. this place was incredible and we couldnt of asked for more! It really helped this job not be work, but a vacation frame of mind is what I came home with.....THANK YOU!

  My wife and I visited Santa Barbara for our daughter's graduation recently and we chose the Mill House because of it's proximity to Montecito and Butterfly beach. We were pleasantly surprised... the Mill House was even nicer than we expected and Josee was a delightful host. The property is just beautiful and relaxing and the rental was just as nice and larger than expected. We would recommend the Mill House for anyone visiting Santa Barbara anytime. Thank you for such a nice stay, Josee.

  The Mill house is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a quite escape, or romantic getaway! The inside is decorated with style, and beautiful touch. The cottage is lovely, inside and out, with the finest attention to details. The garden is magnificent, and brings about a sense of peace and calm. Butterflies could be seen every morning, while having coffee outside on the patio. The owner made us feel right at home, and very comfortable. She has provided everything you could think of, from light snacks to organic coffee. The pictures don’t do justice to the space. The layout is unique, bit it works, and the small kitchenette was just enough for simple breakfast, snacks & lunch. The location is great! Freeway close, but far enough to not hear it. Close-by are excellent Restaurants, and it's a quick walk to Butterfly beach. We look forward to returning!

  When my fiance was coming back from a long business trip overseas, we decided to stay away from everybody we know and just enjoy each other's company for a week. He had never been to Santa Barbara before and I thought it would be a great idea to spend time there on our vacation. When I saw the photos of the "Mill House" I was instantly hooked! I couldn't resist the beauty of that garden! Before I did anything, I spoke to Josee twice over the phone. She was extremely nice and patient with my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Finding the house was very easy as it is so well located near the shops and close to the beach. The house is very spacious and is exactly as pictured! The garden is absolutely beautiful, a perfect place to sit and sip a glass of wine and enjoy the amazing weather. I told Josee that we won't be cooking much, but she made sure that the grill was in working condition and got us brand new grilling accessories! She was so hospitable and everything was perfect - the bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of fresh towels and extra blankets. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful and cozy house. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back again!

  We really enjoyed staying at this place. We felt like we were in a French cottage overlooking a beautiful garden, with all the perks of a California coastal city. The two rooms are converted from a garage, so they are connected to the main house. However, it feels very private, and the owner is very respectful of your privacy. The two rooms are a nice size for a couple--you have space to stretch out and feel like you are at home. It is very tastefully decorated, with thoughtful amenities. For those to whom it matters, the water pressure in the shower is very good. This rental does not have a full kitchen. We stayed with a dog, who loved the yard. The location is very convenient. You can walk to the nearby shopping center, which has everything from a Starbucks to a Vons to a delightful toy store. It is a short walk to Butterfly Beach and the expensive boutiques on Coastal Village Road. If you want to head into downtown Santa Barbara, you are right by the 101 and can be downtown in about ten minutes. Also, we really appreciated that the owner responded so quickly to our query on vrbo.com. We would love to return the next time we are in the area.
