Arriving at the heavy wooden doorway on the narrow ancient landmark street across from the sidewalk cafe, I knew already I had made the right choice for introducing our twin teenagers to Rome. This is a great spot to immerse yourself in the historic city around the corner from the Piazza Navona and convenient to everywhere. The apartment is large, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean and well appointed. The water is hot and the pressure is good. The double insulated windows keep the street noise out. There are no good views from the apartment. Instead it is an oasis from sensory overload of the day. A great little grocery store down the street supplied us great breakfasts. We all had a wonderful time here. Some may be intimidated by the steep stairs. The kitchen is tiny. Great for breakfast but we didn't want to eat in otherwise. For us it was an ideal spot at a reasonable money saving price when compared to hotels.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Thank you so much to Patrizia for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay in while visiting Roma!! The place is as advertised and is very clean. All the necessary items for travel are provided and Patrizia was most helpful when we arrived and provided us with the keys and great information. The apartment is in the heart of Rome and only a couple minutes walk to Piazza Navona. The market down the street was well supplied. We loved the place and had a great time in Rome, Italy. If you get the chance to go and want a great place that is close to all the sights then look no further. You have the market down the street, coffee shops and dinner places all close by. We would stay again if we get the chance to to back. Thanks again to Patrizia. What a great place and wonderful location!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Our party consisted of 5 people staying at the apartment for 4 days over Christmas. We very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well located two storey apartment. On the ground floor, the living area was small and internalized (no windows), but comfortable and well specified. The kitchen preparation area was small and the local laundromat a distance away (10 minute walk). Steep stairs lead upstairs so the apartment is unsuitable for people who aren’t able-bodied. Upstairs, the apartment had a very comfortable main bedroom, a second twin bedroom to the rear and central open extended landing space with another bed. Any shortfalls in the accommodation specifications were more than made up for by its wonderful location only a street from Piazza Navona. The building is also very characterful and historic. The local streets have many restaurants, bars and interesting shops. A supermarket is located just up the street. Patrizia was also very helpful booking a nearby restaurant for us on Christmas Day. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We traveled to Rome for Thanksgiving and found the apartment and the neighborhood in which it is located a perfect fit for our needs. Having only a long weekend to see the sites and enjoy the city, the central location was great as was the proximity to a small grocery store and restaurants including a wine bar right across the street. The apartment was comfortable and clean and Patrizia was very helpful. All in all - a great stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I wante say thank you, together with my wife Adriana, little Sophia and Rafael, for the wonderful welcome and a wonderful stay that you gave us. Rome was lovely and your home elegant and welcoming. Thank you also for the invitation to dinner and for letting us know the real kitchen "romanesca" (I have wrote right?). We hope to meet you soon and when you'll come in South Africa, for sure you will be our guest. Grazia!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in Patrizia's apartment in Rome, we are a family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 Children 14,12,9), we had booked other accommodation in Rome which feel through due to a hot water malfunction. We were a little hesitant going to Patrizia's place, (I had done very through research on all of out other accommodation). We were very pleased on arrival, the apartment is on the ground floor, it is very clean, all of the little things (soap, detergent etc) that make travelling easier are supplied. The location is great walking distance to most places we wanted to go. Coffee, gelati and cafes close by. There is a small but well stocked supermarket very close. The only comment is although the windows in the main bedroom are double glazed the sound from the street can be heard until quite late, so if you are a light sleeper this could get annoying. I would recommend this place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Patriza, the owner/manager, met us at the apartment and was very helpful in explaining everythnig. The main advantage to this apartment is the perfect location in the heart of everywhere you want to go near the Piazza Navona. There were many restaurants, bars, cafe' and gelato stores right on the street and around every corner. We kept finding fantastic restaurants at very reasonable prices. We loved the food and wine. The apartment was small on the first floor but had 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom upstairs. It is ground floor so you don't need an elevator. There is no washer/dryer or working telephone and very few English channels on the TV although there is about 800 channels, great if you speak foreign languages. There was no outside patio to sit and have a glass of wine but that is typical for this area. The apartment was very clean and the bedroom had double windows which helped keep out the street noise. We were very happy with the apartment and would stay again. The location is 5 Star. Owner response: I had my guests Donald and his wife, are two very nice and helpful. They welcomed my suggestions on the choice of restaurants close to the apartment, but they are gone to discover new places and so then it was they who suggested some new restaurant. I would love to go to their apartment in Maui and maybe I will as soon as possible. I hope that sooner or later return to Rome and that they are still my guest
