  This rental is just great! The owner has thought of everything and you will really just need your clothing. The deck hangs over the water and it is very relaxing. Just listening to the sounds of the water. Also we were so close to run into town-even just to grab some ice cream.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  The location can't be beat. All bedrooms were spacious and clean, as was the rest of the house. Not much yard space, but a great deck right on the water. Views from the house are spectacular. Since the house is lakefront property, there are many steps to walk down from the parking space but it is well lit. Owner was very helpful and easy to work with. We would recommend this rental for any of our friends and family. We look forward to visiting again.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Retreat. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend visiting the local wineries. It was great to have WiFi too. The property was clean and maintained. We were glad to have the lights on the stairs when we came back in the evenings. It was perfectly spacious for 2 couples.

  Just recently returned from beautiful Keuka. This cottage was truly ideal! Located on the Bluff near Penn Yan; a perfect location for a getaway but with civilization just within reach. The owners, Jenni and Brad, were completely accommodating. It's very rare that we get the opportunity to take our dog on vacation and since the owners are pet lovers themselves they were very aware and understanding of our desire. Sienna (our pup) learned to swim in the very lake I learned in as well. It was beyond memorable. All that to say, this rental definitely has a cottage feel. The pictures and description are exactly as advertised. I would be aware that there are no fences between you and the neighbors. Both neighbors were very friendly, but if you have dogs that wander or have issues with cats or other dogs--I'd bare this info in mind for both the comfort of yourselves and the neighbors!! The washer and dryer are located outside and look like new models, just make sure you don't leave the task for the evening as the bugs will follow you to and fro. Also beware of the Zebra Mussels (they're such a pain in every lake!). Water shoes a MUST. As the owners suggest, keeping the windows open to create air flow at night is all you need! Additionally, it's incredibly relaxing to wake up to the sound of water breaking on the shore. The house essentials were all provided--plenty of dishes, condiments(!), paper supplies and wine glasses galore! They also had a great selection of games and a movie stash. Watching Sideways on our last night was quite priceless! Furthermore, the area boasts a nice grocery store (Tops), pizzerias, small movie theater, Go-Karts, Seneca Farms (local icecream hotspot) and for a 25 minute drive you can reach Hammondsport, "The Coolest Small Town in America", for some aviation history, good restaurants and wineries. Overall it was a truly enjoyable vacation and I sincerely thank Jenni and Brad for the opportunity and hospitality!

  The owners, Jenni & Brad, were wonderfully responsive and helpful – and so nice! The house was just what we wanted… comfortable layout, good kitchen, plenty of space. The deck was the big highlight, and was the spot we spent every afternoon enjoying the lake. Even the neighbors were friendly!

  This house was clean and very accomodating for our family. Waking up to the best sunrise on the lake was spectacular. Towels and sheets were supplied, a great benefit for travelers. Our kids had a great time fishing from the dock!
