Fun getaway for multiple families

We just returned from a nice getaway with our 2 year old and two other families that each had a toddler. The house was very well equipped - lots of fold out cots available, plenty of towels and linens, and plenty of supplies in the kitchen. The only item which would have been very nice was if there was baby gate available to set up at the top of the stairs. The location was nice and quiet, but very convenient to the beach (which the toddlers loved!). We went on a ride on the skunk train which was a lot of fun as well. We never managed to make it out to the hot tub, but it looked very clean and well kept. The owners were easy to work with and very understanding about a curious toddler breaking a statue. Would definitely stay here again!

The Mendocino coast is one of our favorite long weekend vacation places. Now that we have 2 kids, we were looking for something more family-oriented than the B&B's we have usually stayed in before. Chateau Cleone was the perfect choice for us. It is only a couple minutes north of Fort Bragg and there's nearby beach access (walkable). The house was ideal for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. There was even a pack-and-play for the baby. The main living space and a bedroom is located upstairs, with two bedrooms downstairs. Perfect situation for putting the kids to bed, and then being able to enjoy the house, deck, and lovely hot tub without disturbing them. The owners have really done a nice job with this place and made us feel very welcome. Had all the creature comforts we needed, and then some. Chateau Cleone was a fantastic place to stay and it is our new favorite spot to stay when visiting the Mendocino Coast.

We loved our stay. The house's layout was perfect. People could take a break from one another if the spirit moved them. The night owls were happy as well as the early birds. The neighborhood is really quiet and pretty. We all enjoyed the hot tub & upper deck. I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay near Fort Bragg, the coast, etc. If we need to go to the Mendocino coast again next year, we will definitely be back!

We are returning guests and are very pleased to say everything at this place was as enjoyable as it was before. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to spend a relaxing weekend in a beautful spot, among the redwoods and near the ocean. Walks along the Haul Road were wonderful. We enjoyed ourselves completely.

My family and our friends had a wonderful vacation in your lovely home. I have been to the Fort Bragg area many times, and this was by far the nicest house we have stayed in. First rate comfort in every way, exceptional views of the trees, beautifully appointed bedrooms, open airy living area, good sized furnished balcony. Each morning we would have coffee on the balcony and each evening we would enjoy our cocktails there. Really comfortable house for the two families with teenagers. We very enjoyed the hot tub surrounded by redwoods as well. Thank you for it all.

I stayed at Chateau Cleone for to nights.......and did not want to leave. All amenities were taken care of. The owners have thought of everything to make this holiday home comfortable and quite enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to see plenty of firewood at different site on the property, allowing us to keep warm around the fire each night. I will be seeking to stay at this wonderful home again during my next trip to Fort Bragg.

Our short stay (3 nights) was not quite enough time to enjoy the entire house or all of the nearby activities, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. The home is large and in a very quiet location just north of town. The hot tub was very nice and secluded, and you can even see a bit of the ocean from the deck. If you have small children, you can either keep a very close eye on them around the stairs, or close the sunroom off and use that room for play time (which we mostly did). Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay! Thanks for letting us use your home!

Excellent location . Close to miles smiles of beaches and hiking trails, horse back riding too! The house was very clean and comfortable . Felt like home. Best of all is the quiet peaceful setting. Loved the hot tub. We will be planning a trip back to this wonderful place.

Enjoyed our stay at this home, nice sunny deck was great for sitting or for lunch or dinner. Plenty of room for all. Had all the luxuries of home, except some games or cards, but other than that was not in need of anything. Close to everything which made it very easy for us to get around and enjoy the sights.

This home is very warm and appealing inside and out. The property is beautiful, spacious and peaceful. I slept well and we enjoyed our stay very much...as did our dog!

Chateau Cleone was just what we had hoped for and it was a vacation we hope to repeat next year. Everything was perfect! Comfortable rooms, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the relaxing hot tub nestled in the redwoods and our short bike rides to the beach! Teens and younger child very happy with their own space and satellite tv at night. Small store within a few houses away for the occasional cold soda or ice cream bar. Quiet area and enjoyable owners who were very accommodating. We loved our stay and we were so sad to leave...but loved coming home with clean clothes! Thank you for the most enjoyable vacation! See you same time, next year!
