Fully furnished 2-bdrm +loft / 2 bath cottage, all bills paid: ADORABLE and Pet-Friendly! Monthly price includes wifi, satellite TV, and all utilities. Screened-in porch, fenced area for pets, laundry room with washer and dryer, barbeque pit, bird feeders, greenhouse, garden area, and access to a private river park make this the perfect stay for anyone, any couple, any family!
This charming stonewall cottage sits a block from the beautiful Guadalupe River on half an acre with fields on three sides, so it feels very private and rural. The house is very bright and cheery with two bedrooms and a loft that leads to a cozy sleeping area on one side and an inviting reading nook or rocking spot on the other. The living room and dining room are the center of the cottage, with all other rooms connected to it.
From the living room you can step out onto the screened porch and from there you can let the dogs out into the fenced area and sit a while in the swing or on the small patio. It's a perfect spot for drinking your morning coffee and watching the deer and the birds feed all around.
Once it heats up, put on your suit, grab your float, and head down the road just a short walk (like a city block) to cool off in the Guadalupe! There are lounge chairs under huge cypress trees, so if you don't feel like taking the plunge, you can relax, read a book, or watch the birds instead.
Come nightfall, it's time to fire up the Char-Boy and watch the stars come out! If all the beds are full, pull out the sofa bed or bring a few blow-up mattresses and set up camp in the loft or on the porch.
You'll fall in love with the property and the area...it's Hill Country Heaven!

The property was beautiful looked better than pictures, very clean and inviting the owner was always helpful with any questions or concerns .The month was filled with trips to the hill country ,the views were great,walking fishing,watching the birds or just resting in the sun. We did enjoy a trip to the River Walk, in San Antonio,Cave Without A Name, and the L.B.J.Ranch We had a great time here ,lots to do and the weather was great.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+.

About the owner: This place put a spell on me last summer, and I HAD to have it! I want to retire from teaching and make this my home in a few years, but until then, I will share it with vacationers and enjoy getting to know people from all over the world! I've taught for 30 years...been widowed for 10...am raising 3 amazing children with the help of lots of family, friends, and teachers... have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a cockatiel...and love to clean! When I retire, I would like to garden, quilt, and travel in a Class A motorhome all over the U.S. and Canada.
Why the Owner Chose Ingram:
I grew up going to Camp Arrowhead, and for the past 10 years I've been taking my own kids to Vista Camps and now Camp Mystic. I ran across this house on the Internet before taking my daughter to camp last summer, made an appointment to see it, and that was it! I love being out here in the peace and quiet of the country but still being close to Kerrville and San Antonio. This is my Heaven, what makes my heart sing!
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
The birds, the deer, the stars, the quiet! Sleeping upstairs in the loft this winter was special, too. I felt like I was camping out! And I can look out at night and see the Rio Vista sign lit up in the hills!!!
