WELCOME to the 'Red Rooster' beach house! This luxurious 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom Seacrest Beach home is ideal for one large family or two families that wish to share the cost. There are two master suites and each bedroom has its own bathroom so that everyone can enjoy comfort and privacy. The house is just across from a huge 12,000 square foot pool that is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and palm trees. Just a short 3-4 minute walk from the front door is one of the prettiest stretches of white sand beaches along the Gulf Coast. The community also offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the beach via large golf carts. The beach is so nice you will swear you are in the Caribbean!
This home accommodates 12 comfortably - two king, one queen, one bunk with a full on the bottom, twin on top and a twin trundle, one queen sofa sleeper, and one twin rollaway. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom has its own TV and full bath. The kitchen, dining room and family room are open, which is great for gathering without feeling crowded. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and all your cooking and serving needs. The family room is very comfortable with a large TV, CD, and VHS/DVD player. The house has surround sound throughout, so bring your favorite CDs and DVDs. Also, the house has free Internet service via DSL. There is ample parking for cars.
Seacrest Beach is right next to renowned Rosemary Beach on one side and Alys Beach on the other, which are great places to walk to in the evening. Rosemary Beach has several nice restaurants at varying price points, a coffee shop, retail shops, and our kids' favorite, the Sugar Shak, where you can get ice cream and candy. Bike rentals are also available in Rosemary. The communities of Seaside, WaterColor, and Seagrove Beach are just a short drive or bike ride down scenic Hwy. 30-A and are fun to visit. There is a safe bike/jogging path that runs parallel to 30-A the entire distance from Rosemary Beach to Grayton Beach (more than 10 miles).
We prefer to rent to families. We do not rent our house to students or young single adults under the age of 25 unless they are accompanied by an adult guardian or parent who remains in the house for the entire stay. Reservations made under false pretenses may be subject to forfeiture of advance rental payments and security/damage deposits. We do not allow pets in the house because the house has hardwood floor covering throughout. We love our beach house and hope that you will enjoy it as well and treat it as your own. We've (6 adults/4 children) stayed at the Red Rooster for a week each of the last 3 years and always enjoy it. It's spacious, clean, well appointed, and very close to the enormous community pool. Our children and grandchildren love it! They don't want to consider any other location...and we had previously stayed in other locations in this community. It has become our family's highlight of the year. Bud & Alley's is a great nearby restaurant to watch the sunset. Bayou Bill's is a very good family restaurant and a short drive. The Terrace restaurant is nearby with good food and is a good place for couples to have a nice, intimate dinner. Highly recommend the Red Rooster.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Red Rooster is a nice house, very spacious, and extremely close to the pool. Should you be "beach babies" like us, the beach is not an easy reach. The adjoining property that "allows" you to travel through to get to "their" beach, is not accommodating. Nothing with wheels, including coolers, bikes, etc., are allowed. Don't dare forget your beach pass, even if you are simply crossing 30A, you will have to find one to enter....even if your loved ones are already on the beach. Should you want to bring your own chairs, you will be traveling down the beach to the "end" of the rented chairs. My family ultimately ended up packing up the Suburban and headed to the public beach at Inlet. No stairs, no property police....and had a bathroom/lifeguard! Seacrest is a lovely development, clean, with security and shuttle carts. The beach access, however, is challenging with or without children!Did you find this review helpful? This home was in a great location; near the pool, close to the beach, and in easy walking distance of shops and restaurants in Seacrest and Rosemary. We biked to neighboring beach communities such as Alys, Watersound and Seaside. The house was big, clean, comfortable and nice! GREAT family beach vacation!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About: The Red Rooster is owned by three families who have enjoyed vacationing in South Walton County for many years. We all liked the area so much we decided to pool our funds and purchase a house in Seacrest Beach. We were drawn to the neighborhood because of the great pool, dedicated beach access, and friendly family atmosphere. We all enjoy the pace and relaxation of a South Walton beach vacation and invariably leave the Red Rooster feeling refreshed and looking forward to our next visit.
Why Seacrest Beach North:
What sold us on The Red Rooster was the two master suites and the fact that every bedroom is roomy and has a private bathroom. The main public space is wide open with a nice flow and plenty of room for 10-12 people to gather and enjoy one another without feeling cramped. This was ideal for us and we felt it would be ideal for similar families that like to travel together and enjoy the benefits of shared accommodations. We hope you enjoy your stay in our house as much as we do and we sincerely appreciate your business. We especially enjoy welcoming return guests each year and hope we can add you to that special group.
