  We rented this beautiful home to celebrate our daughter's graduation. It is even more beautiful and spacious than can be captured through a camera lens. The kitchen/living/dining area is large enough to gather family & friends at one spot and there are numerous other rooms where you can escape for an afternoon nap or some alone time. Even though it rained & was a bit cool during our stay, we still enjoyed the hammock in the back yard and the large front porch. With only a 15-20 minute drive to Nashville, it is very convenient. Target and Kroger are about 5 minutes from the house, which was very convenient for last-minute runs for forgotten/needed items. I really can't say enough good things about this home. We were able to meet Mr. Hicks, who was very welcoming, and we spoke to Mrs. Hicks on the phone several times. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have already recommended this home to everyone who has asked how our trip was. Should we ever plan a large family gathering again in the Nashville area, we would certainly stay here again. You won't regret your decision if you choose Green Gables. I can promise you that.

  We rented this home for our family to stay for our sons wedding in Nashville. The home is spacious, clean, tons of amenities and comfortable for large groups. Since I knew the area.... It was very convenient to interstate, Target and Kroger. Friends came and went and felt the price was awesome for the space and grounds. The owner is lovely to work with and goes out of her way o make you welcome:)

  For more than twenty years our group of classmates have been getting together once a year to hang out. We have stayed on the floor of dorm rooms early on to hotels, chalets and houses. This past year we chose Nashville and after reviewing options settled on Green Gables. We had a group of fourteen guys at the house and can say we made the right choice. The place was simply awesome. Very clean, spacious and had everything and more. Debbie couldn't have been more kind and accomidating. I talked to her on the phone a couple times and felt like I knew her for years. If you are considering staying at the house vs hotels there is no comparison and you won't find a better people to deal with than Debbie and her husband Howard. Thank you for one of the best weekends we have done. Nashville is a great town. God willing, we will be back!

  What a beautiful place and a peaceful atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone. The pictures does not really show how beautiful this place is. Inside and outside is so amazing,and Debbie the owner is very very nice! If your going to Nashville or Franklin Tennessee this is the place to be!

  My son was getting married in Brentwood and we had family coming in for the event. We decided to enjoy the home for Christmas as well. The house was decorated with a beautiful tree, lights and a nativity! It was a beautiful way to spend the holiday! The house is spacious, the kitchen is a delight to cook and prepare food in while still being able to visit. There are several rooms and places to be with everyone, or nooks to curl up and read a book or have a moment of solace. The house is clean and well maintained. The owner is very helpful and friendly to work with. I would highly recommend this place.

  The home was beautiful and in a fantastic setting. It was clean and neat, had all the necessary kitchen equipment to prepare our Thanksgiving meal and the linens were spotless. Debbie, the owner couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. Information provided for sightseeing was extensive. Perfect for our extended family of 13 for a 10-day vacation--everyone from age ten to 60+ loved it and many thought it was our best vacation ever. Comparing this vacation to a Disney Cruise, a trip to Hawaii and a cruise to Alaska, that is saying something. Close to the lovely town of Franklin and a short drive from Nashville, we enjoyed it all! Puckett's in nearby Franklin was our favorite restaurant--we even had pulled pork along with our turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner. I would recommend this home to all!

  Annually our GRITS group (Girls Raised In The South) take a trip somewhere in the USA. This year was Nashville/Franklin. Our group, consisting of 8 women, in our early 50's, wanted to be near Nashville because we were attending the CMA Awards, but we wanted the small quaint town atmosphere, too, where we could hang out and relax from our busy life in Houston. I am so glad we found Green Gables. The property is so beautiful and the house was just a great place for us girls to get together. There was plenty of space to entertain and sleep. The front porch conversations were a first in the mornings and a last in the evenings. The home was very large, very clean and very comfortable. We had all the amenities of home. Debbie was wonderful in assisting us with our trip. She recommended a concierge service from Franklin that we used who made our trip so easy and perfect. She stocked our refrigerator before we arrived, booked our adventures and dinner reservations and so much more. We visited the cute town of Franklin and Leiper's Fork, Arrington Vineyards, Nashville, and the Battle Fields. This part of Tennessee is so beautiful. I would highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone interested in Nashville/Franklin and the surrounding areas. Be ready to relax and see beautiful countrysides from the porch.

  Just got back from my stay at Green Gables and we had a fantastic time. The house is actually BETTER than the pictures! There's tons of space and everything was finished really nicely. On top of it all, Debbie and her husband Howard were extremely gracious hosts. Howard was there setting up when we arrived and he gave us the grand tour of the property. They even let us order the NFL package for DirectTV so that we could watch football on Sunday. We paid for the entire season so they have it if you're interested! It was extremely easy getting to and from Nashville from the house and the grocery store is very close by. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Thanks again to Howard and Debbie.

  The house is beautiful. My whole family stayed there for my sisters wedding everything was very nice and Debbie went out of her way to make sure my brothers baby had a beautiful place to sleep. and even a bouncy seat to put her in.. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.... thanks
