Our cabin is located on a quieter part of Smith Lake. We are on Rock Creek near Swayback Bridge. Swayback Bridge boat launch is just right around the corner. We have deep water, which is great for fishing. Our steps to the water are lighted and there is a green monster light under the boat dock. The green light attracts lots of fish!! It is fun to watch the fish swim by at night!
We have a screened in porch and a BBQ gas grill on the back deck facing the lake. The kitchen and den have beautiful cedar ceilings and kitchen cabinets (all cedar cut from the beautiful forest surrounding Arley).
There are three bedrooms. The master has one king sized bed, another room has two queen sized and the last has one full bed. There are 2 1/2 baths with one having a walk-in shower and the other a tub shower. There is a flat screen TV in the master bedroom and a TV in one other bedroom.
The den has a 48' flat screen TV with DirecTV and an electric fireplace. We have great cell and internet service. There is a beautiful cement driveway to the house with lots of parking.
Smith Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the whole country and we love it!

We had such a fun and relaxing stay! The house is very new with nice modern appliances. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake. Plenty of space on the decks for lounging around or reading a book. We enjoyed having a nice working grill that was large enough for our family. The airconditioning was top notch ( we had over 100 degree heat index and the house stayed cool ). The most enjoyable part of the whole place was the covered boat dock. We spent most of the daylight hours out there laying out and swimming around the dock. To get down to the dock you must take 112 steps ( we counted! ) from the upper deck to the bottom, so this may not be doable for someone with mobility issues. This many steps to the water is pretty typical around there though because of how the landscape is around the lake. The location is very convenient for running to the store in Arley ( maybe 5 minutes ). Arley has a couple of home town restauraunts , gas station, 2 grocers, and a dollar store, So you pretty much have everything you need within a few minutes of the house. The owners are extremely nice and a pleasure to rent from. They live locally, ready to take care of any problems, which we had none. This house was perfect for our group and we had a great time!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
