This one acre property situated on a quiet cul-de-sac has wrap-around deck offering Western views of Whiteface and Southern vistas to the High Peaks across open pastureland. The "best seat in the house" may be from the patio furniture on the deck or the Adirondack rustic stick chairs on the lower covered patio off the master bedroom suite.
Within the chalet one will find a fully equipped kitchen large enough for two cooks and informal seating for two plus. The dining area seats four with room for expansion. The living room includes a fireplace, cable TV with DVD, VCR; pull-out full-size couch and a circular stair to the loft. Three twin beds (or 1 twin & 1 king), dresser, closet and cable TV welcome the kids to this cozy getaway at the top of the house. There is a half bath and complete laundry room on the main level. The lower level consists of a full bath with shower/tub combo as well as the master bedroom suite including a king-size bed, walk-in closet, sitting area with second fireplace, cable TV with VCR and walk-out to patio. High speed wireless internet access throughout chalet and on deck & patio.

The Chalet was perfect for our long weekend in the Adirondacks. Located in Upper Jay, it's perfectly situated between Lake Placid, the High Peaks and Lake Champlain. Upper Jay also offers a less touristy and more authentic experience. Overall, the building was PERFECT - it sleeps up to 8 people and is equipped with EVERYTHING you could ever need in the Adirondacks! I highly recommend!

This rental could NOT be beat in any way, shape, or form. What an amazing time we had. The owners could not have been any more accomodating. Everything was immaculate, and just as described. My only regret was that we never got a chance to meet the owners to thank them personally. I'd love to be the President of their Tennant's Association!

What a place! The chalet was wonderful, there is a lot of space, with all the conveniences, a great fireplace, a BBQ... It was very clean, provided with all you can need and Mike and Mini left no stone unturned to make you comfortable. It was exactly like the ads! No tricks, no lies. The surroundings were also marvelous. So peaceful, so quiet... and a lot of opportunities to hike. Just gorgeous! With a special mention to Paul's Bakery! We will definitely come back again!

Such a perfect place to stay! My friend and I, rented the place for a long weekend. From the second we came in, it felt like home. The Chalet is very causy and homey. its surroundings is spectacular. Peace and quite are everywhere. Lake Placid is few minutes away having any activity we could think of. The most impressive thing was the way this chalet was equipped and organized: everything we needed and much more than that, could be found right where you expected it to be... and of course, the owners, Mike & Mini made us felt comfortable. I'll be back!

We stayed at Adirondack Views for a 3 day weekend and we had a great time! The house was clean, well equipped & comfortable. The directions were good and the communication between us and the owners was second to none. If we get a chance we would definetly stay there again.

We are a family of 4 who vacation often and have rented many homes over the past 20 years. This home ranks among the best. It is well-equipped, very clean, homey and comfortable. It is very well stocked with many of the little touches so often forgotten by even the best hosts. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in the area. With Whiteface so close (5-10 min. drive) and Lake Placid, with all its charm, such a short drive away also - it can't be beat. Enjoy!

We really enjoy staying at the chalet. It is clean and comfortable and very relaxing. We enjoy being close to all the great skiing trails, and Lake Placid, if we chose to venture out. Personally, I like waking in the morning and watching the ponies roam in the field while I drink my coffee and read. Or watching the light change on Whiteface Mountain as the sun rises in the ski. It's all about rest and relaxation.

We have rented this chalet twice and have only nice things to say about it. It is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The location is private and quiet and the scenery is wonderful. We had several super days of skiing and snowboarding at Whiteface Mountain and warm, relaxing evenings by the fireplace.We highly recommend this chalet and will be going back in the future.Thanks to Mike & Mini for being such great hosts.

A very nice rental.Exactly as advertized! wonderful place! The fireplace was great(it was a little cold for 3 days-41 at night) plus my son-the boy scout-loves to make fireplace fires.It is very close to all the sights and pleasant to stay and relax.Could use some more microwave dishes but otherwise plenty of cooking pans and utensils. The grill is great too!looking forward to staying here again-maybe even in winter or fall.
