  The studio was very clean & modern. Nice bathroom and great kitchen. The photos do the condo justice- the view is even better than we hoped. We really appreciated that Mika even purchased a Pack'n'Play when she found out we had a baby. She was also helpful with answering the questions we had. We went to Duke's for dinner, it was good. Also- took it back to our room and that was very convenient. The pools are perfect and we loved that the whole place was very family oriented. The cafe "Aina's" we went to far too often! We loved their lattes, americanos and mac nut cinnamon buns!

  We enjoyed our stay in the studio and found it to be cleaner than our stay last year at another studio on the same property not owned by this studio owner. The bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get out of bed and leave the studio. The studio supplied foldable beach chairs that were the best chairs we've ever used on the beach and the view was great too!Fleetwood's on Front Street is a MUST. We got pictures with Mick Fleetwood and Steven Tyler there and Mick and Steven were kind and thoughtful human beings. Try the mushrooms and crispy chicken at Fleetwood's.Open roof top lounge for music.

  My husband and I enjoyed this studio condo very much. The bed was quite comfortable, everything was well maintained and clean, it was great having full size kitchen appliances and the washer/dryer combo was handy but slow (which Michelle did tell us). We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai while watching the whales go by. The site photo from the lanai of the view is right on, not zoomed in as another reviewer thought. The only negative was the small supply of toilet paper and tissues. We had to buy more. Also, when we called the property manager after landing, we found out that the owner did not pass on to her that our arrival time had changed and she had already left the property. But she lives close by and was there by the time we arrived. Otherwise, wonderful vacation property. Dukes was a good place for dinner although pricey, and one breakfast. I highly recommend driving to Napili Bay for the Gazebo Restaurant breakfast. No reservations, always a line, but it moves quickly and the food is well worth the wait! Thank you for sharing your vacation property with us.

I've made a note about the toilet paper and tissue to correct that for future guests. Thank you. Your recommendation for the Gazebo is great info to share. I love their banana mac nut pancakes and make a special trip out there every time I'm there. The view at the Gazebo is pretty amazing too. I hope wonderful Maui left her imprint on your heart and you will be back soon.

  This beautiful unit was perfect for my recent vacation to Maui. I was traveling as a single with my daughter, son-in-law and his extended family for the Thanksgiving holiday. The unit had everything I needed including a full kitchen, washer & dryer (nice to come home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!) and mats, towels & boogie boards for the beach. The deck area provided ample room to relax and take in the beautiful views. The swimming pools and nearby beach area were great. There is a large grocery store within walking distance if you plan to cook some or all of your meals. I hope to return to this property on my next trip to Maui.

  beautiful condo great view property manger a little sketchy,seemed confused on many things we updated her several times on are arrival time was still 20 minutes late not a good way to start a vacation

  Hokulani #637 was just as described. The bed was comfortable and clean and the suite was incredibly well kept. Upon our late arrival to the island, my husbnd peeped out the curtain in the room and says " I thought you said there was an ocean view." I told him to stop looking for imperfections and go to bed. the next morning, he awoke to the most beautiful view he had ever seen and his jaw was on the floor in amazement. The view was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. We slept every night with the lanai odors open and the screen closed and it was like sleeping on the beach. We could hear the waves at night and awoke to the smell of coffee brewing. Our stay was so relaxing and luxurious. Michelle the on site contact was very attentive and caring. The staff at Honua Kai were attentive as well and never made me feel like I wasnt one of their hotel guests. The owner was fantastic too. She always replied promptly to my emails. A few things I would want anyone to consider: 1. The photo in the advertisement is zoomed in on the ocean and the actual beach is a little farther away to the naked eye but it is still fabulous. 2. My husband and I are not smokers so whenever someone tried to sneak a puff on their lanai nearby, the smell would creep into the suite momentarily. 3. Although the suite can sleep 4 comfortably, It would be difficult to store the belongings of 4 people and still keep the suite tidy and functional. 4. Honua Kai does not get the Big Ten Network. So you may miss that special Football game that doesn't air in Hawaii regionally (my husband made me add this to the review as it was a big deal to him) 5. Be sure to visit Ululanis Hawaiian Shaved Ice daily cause its that awesome. Overall, when I return to the Lahaina area, I will be sure to put this suite on the top of my list .

  We were delighted with our stay at this beautiful condo. The info provided prior to our arrival allowed for a quick and easy check in. The condo is well appointed with its furnishing and has a well equiped kitchen/bathroom. It is located in a great part of the building for easy access and ocean view. You can even see the sun go down on the ocean from the lanai. This condo is great for anyone that is out and about adventuring during the day or would just like to stay in the resort and enjoy the facilities. Having Duke's Restaurant on site is certainly a plus. We hope to return soon. Thanks Mika!

  My husband and I stayed here for just over a week and it was by far the best room we have stayed in. Room had an amazing view and was clean and beautiful. Would recomend this room to anyone

  We just returned from staying in this condo for 10 nights for our honeymoon. It was PERFECT in every way! It felt very lush like we were being pampered, yet it was cozy and comfortable like it was our little place in Hawaii. Having the kitchen with all of its amenities was wonderful. We ate breakfast and lunch at the condo most days saving us a lot of money and time. We enjoyed our own "happy hour" on the lanai in the evenings as we watched the beautiful view. We were grateful to have a washer and dryer in the unit as well. The common areas including the pool were well-maintained and not too crowded at all, considering it's summertime. This condo has a great location and we hope to be able to return to it again very soon!
