Sanibel Arms condo description

Look out on the Gulf of Mexico from the lanai, take a few steps to the beach for sunning or shelling, or dock your boat for free on the canal. Bike paths galore on the island, starting right outside your front door, and two 7-speed bikes are provided for your use. Travel a half mile to the famous Sanibel Lighthouse, or a bit further to the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
Much of the island has remained undeveloped and it is very flat--perfect for bikes or walking. Tropical plants and wildlife abound, but the island is probably best known for the beautiful seashells that wash up on its roughly 10 miles of Gulf shoreline--all of it accessible to the public, and conveniently a stone's throw from your 2-bedroom, 2nd floor corner unit (sleeps 4-6) in the Sanibel Arms condominiums.
Recently renovated with a fully equipped kitchen and satellite televisions in both bedrooms and the living room. Wireless internet access is included. Cookout on the gas grills or just enjoy the heated pool and clubhouse.

                  About the owner: Leslie is an RN and Bill is a meteorologist working at Penn State. We've been married 25 years, have two kids, who you can see in some of the pictures, and a min pin named Gunther, who does not visit the condo.

                  Why the Owner Chose Sanibel Arms:
                  We first came to Sanibel after a week at Disneyworld when the kids were much younger and fell in love with the beaches with all the beautiful shells, the wildlife, bike paths and the relative quiet.

                  The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
                  A 30-minute trip from the laid-back Southwest Florida International Airport near Fort Myers, on the east end of Sanibel Island. Sanibel Arms is special in that it has both Gulf of Mexico and canal frontage. The unit is on the Gulf of Mexico side of E. Gulf Drive, with a second-floor corner lanai that has a great Gulf view and tropical breezes.
