This is a beautiful modern luxury cabin located in Lake Milton, Ohio, with all the amenities a family or large group would want in a vacation property. It is a 4800 square foot cabin with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms that sleeps 22 people! It was completed in 2008. It is only 25 minutes from Akron straight east on 76 (cabin is 1 mile off 76).
****7 Person Luxury Hot tub added in August 2012- 2 waterfalls, 50+jets, 550 Gallons!
RATES:
NORMAL RATES: $2750 a week, Weekend $1300 (additional cleaning fee of $145 and optional linens charge of $95)

We purchased this luxury cabin in 2012 for two reasons. First, we love our family and friends and wanted to have a gathering place for both to celebrate the legacy of family and the importance of spending time together and making memories that span generations: hiking, camp fires, long talks, long walks, smiles and plenty of laughter!
Second, we wanted to offer a place where groups of all kinds could recharge, relax and renew. It may be a marriage that needs a boost, a men’s or ladies group that needs to connect, or even a staff meeting that needs a new environment to get those creative juices flowing! Come relax and unwind at The Legacy.

~ Kitchen is on other side of fireplace which opens to both great room and kitchen, breakfast bar with seating for 4, all top of the line stainless steel appliances
~ Dining room opens to kitchen and great room and also views the fireplace, pottery barn table with seating for 10
~ Sitting room with oversized chair, love seat, and large pull out couch and HDTV with Apple TV/Netflix
~ Full bath
~ Upstairs loft with two rocking chairs, 2 large leather couches, one reclines with floor to ceiling windows and views of back yard and lake
~ Large king sleigh bed in upstairs bedroom
~ Cowboy themed bedroom with bunk, full on bottom, twin on top
~ Large bathroom with tiled jetted tub, stained glass and vaulted ceiling
~ Lower level full bathroom
~ 2nd lower level full bathroom off master bedroom with king amish oak bed
~ Queen bed made of rustic cabin style bed with pull out trundle
~ Lower level kids bedroom has 2 full rustic wood cabin style beds with pull out trundles, also a twin tent bed which the kids love it is a bunk bed with a tent over the top
~ Laundry room with washer, dryer and side sink
~ Media room with large plush couch with pull out bed and HDTV/dvd player
~ Full wrap around deck with two tables each seating 6, a bench swing and gas grill
~ Vaulted sunroom tempature controlled with ac/heat
~ Huge screened in porch with seating for 6, plus another bench swing
~ Rustic Man Cave room with whiskey barrel furniture, 10 barrel chairs, two tables, a bar and two barrel stools, great place for the guys to play cards or for the kids to color and have adventures this is right above the garage.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Legacy Cabin. The house was beautiful and very spacious. We also loved the rope swing and fire pit in the back yard. This is a perfect place for a large family to get away and relax. The only negative experience was the hot tub. For some reason we could not get it to warm up above 90 degress. I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the tub or it could've been operator error. No worries though and we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

As far as the hot tub, instructions are posted right on the wall near the hot tub, you just adjust the tempature to as high as 104 degrees and turn off econo mode! Hot tubs is in perfect working order! Sure to be a great soak for anyone hoping to kick back and enjoy the cool weather, from a HOT tub!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. We had a big group and the house accomodated all of us nicely. It is a truly beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay very much.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family needed extra room for a family reunion and this was the perfect place! This cabin is beautiful, spacious, cozy, and nestled in such a beautiful location! We had lots of young kiddos and we were so impressed with how much this cabin had to offer to keep our kids occupied. Love the wrap around deck! We spent lots of time out there enjoying the peaceful & gorgeous surroundings! The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for preparing our meals and the long dining room table was just right for us to all sit together for our big family meals. This cabin is very spacious yet feels quite cozy at the same time. We loved our stay and hope to return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had and amazing stay at this cabin. It is so big and spacious with plenty of room. I couldn't get enough of watching my kids run around on the huge wrap around. deck. Also, the enormous vaulted ceilings with the loft was very neat. Plenty of quiet little spots throughout the house to read a book or take a nap. My family also enjoyed the large modern hot tub. This home is perfect for a large family or maybe a few families. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with the family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We rented this house for the fourth of July week 2012, and I must say we were not disappointed. The house is beautiful, as the pictures show. We had 18 people in our group 10 kids (ages 8 - 17) and 8 adults, and there was plenty of room for all. We beat the heat (averaged 92 degrees that week) by going to the beach 1 mile away and got some fishi ng in as well. The nights at the house were awesome with bonfires, cooking on the grill, and just relaxing together as a family. The only negative thing we had was the stairs and entrances were a bit difficult for my father (he is partially handicapped) but not impossible. I would strongly recommend this cabin for a perfect vacation, especially if you have a LARGE group as we did!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Hello my wife Christine and I reside in Hudson Ohio. We firmly believe that the family is an amazing gift from God. As such we purchased this home to gather with our 4 kids and spend time together, telling stories, exploring the lakes and woods, sitting around camp fires, and making memorable times for our children to cherish for the rest of their lives. It is our home that other families, friends and groups can gather here and to the same.
Why the Owner Chose Akron:
We purchased this luxury cabin on Lake Milton as it is a wonderful outdoor area, you can enjoy the lake, woods, trails, state parks, but it is also close to many of the major cities in North East ohio. It is a 40 minute drive for us from Hudson! We wanted a place close enough to spend time at any time. It is also close to Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburg, Youngstown and Akron.
