We stayed at Eagles landing for 10 (ten) days!!!!! Our cottage was warm, roomy, comfortable and safe. This gated community was surprisingly just what we needed while visiting Missouri. The grounds had a lot to offer, The road is a nice running path, no worry about traffic, The soothing sound of the river was very calming on the days we did not venture out to town. We took our family dog and he loved exploring the landscape; discovering cows, deers and statues of bulls that he like barking at. The cabin itself was spacious, large kitchen area, large bathroom, king size bed and a very large walk in closet. It was a full size kitchen, the king size bed and pillows was very comfortable, there was no shortage of hot water!!!!! Make sure you leave the porch light on when coming in after dark, because it is in the woods and very dark at night. We were their for a miltary basic training for my two daughter, so we had to stay ten days, we were busy all ten days! Fort Lenoard Wood is about 15 miles away. Note, Rolla is the limit of where the base allows for an off base pass for the newly trained soliders. We visited St. Louis, Branson and some of the local eatery, Overall we had a blast. The owner was very helpful, very kind and made sure all of my request met. The property was clean, after the snow or rain the handyman was there for clean up. Its a great place to stay, theres cable if you want to stay in. The photos are very accurate of the cottage we stayed in. It truly is a great place to stay and get away from the busy city life for a few days. If I returned to Rolla I would look to stay here again!!!! The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Our cabins provide the very difficult to find, Gasconade river access in a completely private area. We offer a gated setting and complete asphalt access. Our river front is boat accessible and the grounds are fully maintained, so you dont have to. A quiet, laid back atmosphere is what we specialize in! The cabins are available on yearly leases and are priced at a fraction of rentals around the state parks. Short stays are offered upon availabilty We encourage a long time relationship with our lessees and allow individual improvements if so desired. The cabins are situated overlooking the river, where excellent fishing for smallmouth, goggle eye, and catfish are just steps away. If you prefer trout fishing, we are roughly an hour drive from three of the best trout parks in the state. For those who like to dine out, we are only a 20 minute drive from several of the local favorites. There are numerous antiquing opportunities within a 30 mile radius for those searching for an alternative to a day on the water.
