Start your day watching the sun rise over the Gulf of Mexico while enjoying that first cup of coffee on the back deck of this gulf front custom home in the small gated community of Parasol. You may choose to stroll along the shoreline or wade in the warm gulf waters after a relaxing night of sea breezes and rolling surf. Our home is only steps away from the Gulf Islands National Seashore, where in addition to the Gulf you will have easy access to the calm waters of Pensacola Sound. A few miles to the east is downtown historic Pensacola, the Naval Aviation Museum, and the home of the Navy's Blue Angels. Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama are only a few miles to the west.
This spacious home is the perfect getaway for that special week on the beach providing an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, great room, large comfortable bedrooms, laundry, covered porches and patios, with easy access to the Gulf via an adjacent walkway or two private neighborhood dune walkovers. Wonderful gulf views, southerly breezes, and numerous palm trees contribute to the enjoyment and relaxation. Activities abound including golf, boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and close proximity to parasailing, jet skis, plus all of the entertainment and restaurants along the coast from Gulf Shores to Pensacola. Shopping including boutiques and outlet malls, antiquing, and sightseeing with lighthouses, historic forts, and numerous museums and art galleries are all awaiting your pleasure.
The master suite on the upper level has a king bed, 600 thread count sheets, a large master bath with dual vanities, jacuzzi, and shower. Bedroom 2 on the upper level with a queen bed is a bright cheery room with its own bath and dressing area. Both bedrooms have spectacular views of the Gulf.
On the main level is the kitchen, breakfast, dining, and great room. Also on the main level is bedroom 3 with a queen bed and bedroom 4 which has two twin beds. One of two sofas in the great room is a queen sleeper. A spacious bath and half bath are also on this level.
All rooms include cable TV and DVD. Broadband internet access with Wi-Fi is provided. All linens, kitchen utentsils, pots and pans,
and dinnerware for 10 guests is included. Beach towels to be provided by the guest.
On the ground level there is an enclosed garage and ample parking in the driveway. A separate workshop is present for storage of the provided beach chairs, umbrella, toys, BBQ grill, and two adult bicycles. A half bath is present in the workshop and an outside hot and cold screened shower at the back of the house is available.
With sufficient notice if arriving late we will provide coffee, sugar, creamer, cereal and milk to start your day.

We spent the first week of October at Ewing's Hideaway and it was one of the best ocean front vacations we have ever spent. After visiting, Panama City, Destin and multiple locations throughout Florida over the past few years this location was without a doubt the best. Beach is perfect with its private access, view is amazing, and the home is amazing. Thanks for allowing us the privilege of staying in your home. This house is simply amazing! With two families and several teens we never once felt crowded or uncomfortable. The furnishings are in great condition, the kitchen is completely modern and the location couldn't have been any better. We enjoyed kayaking, bike riding (in the Gulf Islands National Seashore), grilling and the Blue Angels. The owners are just as amazing as the home! They responded very quickly to any correspondence, demonstrated a passion for people as well as the upkeep of their home and are pleasant to speak with. During our visit we ate at Sunset Grill, thought it was very good and it is on the water. We also went into Pensacola to visit the fish market, Joe Patti's. WOW! Fresh, fresh, fresh seafood! Our only field trip besides the beach was to the National Naval Aviation Museum, it was great (it was a rainy day so we took the opportunity to check it out) and I highly recommend it. We will come back, maybe for two weeks next time!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

We really enjoyed staying at Ewing's Hideaway. The home was beautiful and very spacious for the 9 of us. We so appreciated the way the house is stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen and beach chairs/toys. My family and I spent a relaxing week at this great hideaway. The master bedroom has a fabulous view of the beach. Each morning we awoke to the sound of the waves and the awesome view. The owners made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We traveled all night and they accomodated a tired group of travelers with tender loving care. The access to the beach is close by and easy to get to. This home has all the amenities you could possibly ask for in a vacation home. No shortcuts were taken in the construction and decorating of this home. The photos don't do it justice. You have to see it to believe it. I have been blessed to be able to enjoy a week with my family in such a beautiful home owned by such gracious people. Come and stay...you won't be disappointed!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The home was beautiful and is accurately described in the advertisement. It was ready for us when we arrived. It had everything we needed to begin our vacation as soon as we walked in except food. The home is conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping yet safely located in a gated community. Our family could walk to the beach or the shared pool in two minutes! We would love to make a return visit and would highly recommend this home to others.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Fantastic house! Great owners who took time to answer our questions and add advice on attractions. We go to the beach several times each year. We rent both houses and condos. This house is at the top of the list. It is roomy, comfortable and well appointed. The garage beneath the house is huge and easily accomodated our 21' ski boat and extra beach things. We will be back and would highly recommend this property and owner to any of our friends. Book it!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
