Our recent stay at this Harpursville VRBO home was most enjoyable. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful and quiet – this is it! We were totally surrounded by the greenery and trees of Central New York State and far enough away from main roads that the only sounds were from the birds. We had the opportunity to meet the owners of this clean and well kept home and found them to be very pleasant and most helpful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

About the owner: I oversee an urban ministry for at-risk youth and families. My husband is a software engineer, who loves what he does. We love the outdoors and nature, biking and hiking.
Why the Owner Chose Harpursville:
We found this property and loved the access to the lake and park so we built a house there. We love so much about it, mostly the setting and pristine quiet, with no noise from highways or jets, the trails and the beautiful creek with cascading waterfalls, the wildlife.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Although we vacation regularly, we have never found a quieter spot than this home, nor one with such serene charm or beauty inside and out. Two-minute drive to sandy public beach on a small lake, perfect for families-- with life guards, paddle boats, canoes, stocked fishing, sand volley ball, picnic tables, grills, play ground, party pavilions, trails & sleigh riding at Nathaniel Cole Park, 5 minutes from Alpaca farm, and within twenty minutes of many premier golf courses and restaurants in Binghamton, NY.
