The pictures do not do this house justice. It is a very large and spacious home with plenty of room for everyone, and the views of the beach are breath taking. It is very close to the beach, and the neighbors are very friendly. The beach is not crowded and are some of the prettiest sands I have ever seen. The house also provides beach entertainment (games, volleyball, etc) and beach chairs, so don't worry about packing the car down with those things. Popular restaurants and bars are a short ways away. Overall, one of the most fun and relaxing places I've been too. The staff that manage Southern Cross is great too.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

Our large group booked Southern Cross last month. The property managers were SO easy to work with, friendly, and fun. They made it clear that if we had any issues or needed anything during our stay that they were right down the street and could help with whatever we needed. When we arrived at the house for the first time, we were blown away! The pictures didn't do the house justice. It has a beautiful view, is practically on the beach, and is just minutes away from Seaside, an adorable community I visited growing up. I would ALWAYS want to come back and stay at Southern Cross whenever possible, we had the best time!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

Our extended family is always looking for a larger place for all of us to fit in comfortably and this was the answer. Accomodations were very nice. We really enjoyed having the pool at the house as well as the beach very close by. Beautiful view of the ocean and great relaxing porch to sit back and relax on. Since there are several families from different states was nice to have large enough parking area for all our cars. Location was great in that we were close to grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping. Will be back again next summer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.
