this precious gem allowed us to be closer (just doors away) from my son while visiting, and that is important, of course, but even without that bonus i would rent it again in a heartbeat.....bright, neat, clean - and quiet and peaceful - a "tiny" place that felt huge...had my partner saying things like "i could live here!"...the proximity to santa barbara downtown couldn't be better, and the bonus of a park for a good hike made our stay so easy and relaxing....the owners have done a great job of providing everything you might want as well as clear instructions and information..."a precious gem" sums it up for us! enjoy with confidence

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Beautiful condo, great location

My husband, myself and two friends rented this condo for the weekend to attend my college reunion. It was the perfect size for the four of us, and much more cozy than a hotel! We made use of the pool and hot tub that were a short distance away, and found the condo to be a very convenient distance from both my college and downtown SB. The loft space is fun but pretty small - it fit the two of us fine, but not ideal for anyone very tall. No complaints and would highly recommend staying here.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is our third time in the apartment and actually we have very little to complain about and much to praise. The apartment is quite comfortable and the location and the use of the pool excellent. We have appreciated the owners' caring about us and willingness to assist us in any difficulties. At this moment I can't remember any-- My only complaint is that I wish there were a few more condiments around so that I didn't have to refresh everything if I wanted to do any cooking. It seems that I remember in the past there was more available. Neverthess we feel fortunate to have found the condo and certainly will rent it again on any return to Santa Barbara-- Netta and Marv Kaplan

Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Great apartment for a short stay.

It was a great apartment, with a nice location. I also really liked the hanging bedroom; it was very cozy. Both beds were very comfortable. The WIFI was pretty good. The kitchen was well equipped, the only downside being that it doesn’t have a microwave. Don’t let that discourage you though, this place is great for a short stay in Santa Barbara.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This delightful, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and very cool condo was home-base during a recent stay in Santa Barbara for our daughter's graduation from UCSB. It was a quiet respite from the hubbub of the grad activities, and yet close enough to everything to avoid spending time on the road. We plan on returning and only wish we had found this place four years ago!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My husband and I had 3 perfect days relaxing in this Condo. Peaceful location, beautiful balcony and walking distance from Santa Barbara (we didn't use our car once during our stay). Would definately recommend.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was terrific and very conveniently located for the fairground event we were attending. We were very comfortable there and would rent the condo again. One suggestion would be to have extra bedding available, as it was a bit chilly. Thanks for the great weekend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. What a wonderful home, filled with travel mementos and lovely artwork. Great location- close to State Street and close the beach. The on-site pool and clubhouse were an added bonus.

really well kept unit....nice and clean....very close to state street and downtown sb (1 mile drive)...landlord is really chill, just asked us to leave the check under the door mat and that was it....basically looks just like the pictures....

Lovely place. Everything was very neat and clean, private parking space, laundry facilities (coin op) downstairs, great pool and spa very close by. They even had a locals map and some tour guide magazines left out for us to look at. Not to mention David was very responsive and accommodating with our payment schedule and very quick to make our stay perfect. Ex.. It was hot in the loft area and we called David and in 1 hr he came and brought us a fan, with a remote!. Only thing (for the walkers, bikers) is that this is not 'Walking Distance' to downtown or the beach area. Its roughly 2mi to State Street and 2 miles to the beach, with the condo atop a huge hill. Aside from that, its a short cab ride (only $7) to the nightlife and we couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking location. Look forward to staying here again in the future. B and P

Myself,my husband and toddler of 20 months recently stayed at this sweet, cozy and very well decorated condo for 3 peaceful nights! The kitchen was excellent for cooking and the extra room was perfect for our pack-n-play. The bedroom loft was very comfy. Everything in the home was clean. We were grateful to be close to shopping, tourist attractions and the beach. The interactions with the owners were very pleasant. Thanks for a great stay and your great attention to detail in your rental.

My niece is a freshmen at UCSB and I plan on visiting her twice a school year, so I have been doing my research to find a place that is convenient to State Street, has room for 2-4 people and offers a restful environment, on an most important, was not going to break the bank every time I come to UCSB....I need look no further. The moment I walked into this property I was actually stealing ideas on how I could incorporate the cool decorating style in this condo. Loved the open feeling of the dining room, kitchen and front room. The tucked away sleeping quarters was roomy and a great place to sleep in for a few extra minutes. We used the office as our changing area, it was awesome to have that much space to lay out your suitcases and clothes. Neighborhood was very quiet...sitting out on the deck with a crisp chardonnay listening to the birds chirp was a great way to get ready for the night that lay ahead with my niece and her college friends on State street...If you are looking for a classy, quiet, close to everything, reasonable one bedroom condo...look no further..

Hello---I/we certainly enjoyed our stay in your abode--especiially the quiet atmosphere, easily useable kitchen, tv, and nearby swimming pool. All was quite comfortable and we even got used to the ascent and descent to the loft. If we come to SB again, we could easily stay there.\Thank you, Netta

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. What a great location and a real deal. It was perfect for three or four people with plenty of room and a lovely set up. Would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and tasteful quiet place to spend a few days in SB. Loved the place. Birds chirping, Quan Yin, beautiful pine flooring, clean and newly remodeled kitchen and bath. Very cool.

We spent a wonderful week at this property in late September. Loved the gourmet kitchen, beautiful decor and selection of travel and literary reading. It was within a few minutes drive of everything we wanted to do and yet far away enough from the tourist district that we felt like residents instead of tourists.

A very restful and relaxing codo, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In a lovely part of SB, very close to the centre but really quiet we used it as a base for golfing in the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone

The condo is cute, cozy and well appointed including tons of books, DVDs and CDs. It is centrally located just a few minutes from the Beach, State Street and major highways. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was exactly what we were looking for - convenient location with a parking spot and a place to call "home" for the weekend. As an aside, as world travelers, ourselves, we enjoyed the owners' wonderful collection of travel books. We loved the sleeping alcove and the sounds of the birds. Also, we visited Sunstone Vineyards up in the Santa Ynez Valley at the recommendation of the owner and enjoyed that very much.

My family and I stayed in your condo March 2006 - it was great. My teenage sons enjoyed having constant internet access, the pool & hot tub. I would certainly recommend this vacation home to anyone interested visiting Santa Barbara. We all felt very at home and comfortable - surrounded by books & art.Thank you.

My wife and I had a great time staying in Santa Barbara at the condo in January. It was great being both close to the beach and city. The condo is cute and put together great. I really enjoyed the feeling of it not being a hotel with no personal comforts. it was clean and comfortable and we both had a great time. This condo is a fantastic place to stay and relax for a week. Stayed for five days in August, 2005; very secluded and quiet with absolutely no street noise. All I could hear was the sounds of birds in the adjacent park. Close to town and plenty of good hikes in the vicinity. I recommend this condo to anyone looking for some R&R.

I had a wonderful time at this condo. Great area, neighborhood etc. The pool was wonderful, warm and long enough to swim laps in. We stayed in February for 4 days and the weather was perfect. Beach weather. The condo is conveniently located five minutes from the beach and ten minutes to wonderful mountain trails. I want to go back to this place ASAP.
