Quaint cabin sits in the back of a gated community on cul-de-sac. House is at the end of a community road with lots of privacy and room. Over the years we have owned the house, everyone has been pleased with the house.
Our description is to the point... Welcoming front porch with swings. Cabin is 2500 square feet with two stories. The upstairs is made up of a large great room anchored by a 20 foot tall stone, wood burning fireplace. Two bedrooms upstairs (king and queen), a full bath, open dining room, and the kitchen. And what a kitchen it is! The kitchen has all the conveniences of home including a Viking gas range, dishwasher, and side by side refrigerator. The counters are granite and our cabinets are made from restored barn wood. The kitchen has an island with bar stools that opens into the great room which makes for a great atmosphere.
The downstairs has a large den and the third bedroom. The downstairs floors are travertine tile (the upstairs floors are hardwoods). The downstairs den has a ping pong table, a wrap around couch, gas fireplace, satellite TV, DVD, Sony Playstation, and a movie collection. The downstairs bedroom has a king bed and a bunk bed that is great for young people.
The cabin is located in a gated community with private lake access, a boat dock, a park, a walking path, and a "modern" country store for your convenience. Boat slips available for $10 a night through Center Hill Marina.
Final Note: we dont have a hot tub. look on vrbo in Gatlinburg TN where you will find plenty! thanks

What a great place to vacation!!! Our family gathered here for thanksgiving 2009 and the house was wonderful. Very accomidating for older folk who have a hard time doing stairs. The ping pong table and firepit brought the family together for many happy memories. The open floor plan was great for converstaion and cooking. The best part was the kindness of the owners. So easy to talk with and very accomidating. Thanks so much.... would love to return for another family vacation.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.
