Return to your luxury retreat to soak up the sun from your private plunge pool or one of the community’s two infinity pools with lounging areas and full bay views. Indulge in icy margaritas as you savor a warm-colored sunset from the patio’s handcrafted rocking chairs. Dine out at one of Zihua’s great restaurants. We can recommend several: do you prefer toes-in-the-sand dining or elegant cuisine? Or cook for yourself in the stainless steel/granite kitchen lovingly stocked by two gourmet cooks. Ocean-view dining for six is possible in La Casa Vista Bahia.
Two beautifully-decorated bedrooms and en suites promise relaxing nights for up to 4 guests. The master bedroom features a Mexican-style platform bed (king size), backed by a generous dressing table/desk area. Sliding wooden shutters and glass doors show off the view from a third terrace or close for complete privacy and restful darkness. This room offers satellite television. The guest bedroom can be comfortably configured with two twin beds or one king size bed. Here, too, you have privacy shutters and glass doors on the large bay-view window. The generous desk in this room is perfect for your computer. Both bedrooms offer ample closet space and built-in shelving for your clothing. Each bedroom’s en suite bathroom features marble sinks, handcrafted cabinetry, and a huge indoor-outdoor shower. A spacious half-bath is found on the first floor.
La Casa Vista Bahia penthouse is located on the upper floors (with elevator) of luxury complex La Casa Que Ve Al Mar. Renowned architect Enrique Zozaya designed Casa Que Ve Al Mar and returned to create this penthouse for indoor-outdoor living. Architect Luis Trevino designed the custom wood furnishings. High-end decorative materials and finishes abound: marble, granite, custom stonework, specialized paint techniques, and glass doors. Original art and handicrafts from Patzcuaro and San Miguel de Allende are found in every room. The guest bedroom features an extensive collection of artisan crosses. The living-dining area has contemporary, comfortable furnishings and artisan accessories. Both SkyTV and an iPod docking station are located here. Wireless internet and air conditioning are available throughout the penthouse. The kitchen offers full-size stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, and high-end cooking supplies. Located nearby is a niche with stackable washer and dryer.
La Ropa beach is a short walk from the penthouse. Zihuatanejo is a 10-minute ride by car, and taxis will arrive within minutes. Ixtapa is about 15 minutes by car. Troncones Beach, beloved by surfers, is 30 minutes away.

Will you rent a car so that you can explore on a whim (covered parking is available to you), or do you prefer airport pick-up and delivery and taxi service? We rented the penthouse condo for our honeymoon in Zihuatanejo from 03/31 - 04/4. The condominium has impeccable views and is quite modern. The unit was very clean. It is HUGE. It has 2 large bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms. The showers are outside on the top floor - you have the best views of the ocean while showering! The kitchen has granite countertops and the unit comes with Cuisinart appliances (we appreciated the self-grind/coffee maker and the toaster). The bad? Not much. I had to research online how to use the mircrowave and oven as they are not American products and it was confusing. (Note, they arent in Spanish either, but they have different symbols than one would expect). The owner should tell you how to operate the jacuzzi/infiniti pool. It is also not clear. The same can be said for the garbage disposal. Instructions on how to use the satellite TV would have also been appreciated. It would be nice to also know security's number or have a way to talk to them so they could call you a taxi. However, we were able to walk down and ask as well. Having said that, those were minor issues. Overall, we loved the unit. I would recommend it. The owner has a housekeeper that came every day. She was awesome.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Awesome condo with outstanding view of the bay and Playa La Ropa. 5 minute walk to the beach, easy taxi ride to numerous restaurants and places of interest. The condo is very spacious, clean and has all the amenities you could hope for. Property manager wasn't around but this was not an issue, maid service several times during the week and plenty of friendly owners if you have any questions etc. Would most certainly return and rent this one again!Owner response: Thank you for very much your review and recommendation. Our Penthouse now features a few additional amenities, such as daily maid service, an optional starter pack (including pick up at the ZIH airport) and last but not least the attention and services of our neighbor LA QUINTA TROPPO, an exclusive boutique hotel, where you are invited to use the facilities and services as if you were a guest of the hotel.
