Cloud Nine was designed by renowned Gulf Coast architecht Gary Justiss in 1998. It is a beautifully decorated home and has been immaculately maintained. This is the first time Cloud Nine has ever been available for rent.
Upstairs at Cloud Nine, you will find an open and inviting living area. The living room offers comfortable and stylish original mission furniture, a 40' flat screen HDTV, Comcast cable, premium sound system, DVD player, iPod docking station and a 200 disc CD player, already loaded with CDs. The house is wired with wi-fi and a color printer is available for your convenience. Off of the living room, you will find a beautiful covered balcony, surrounded by palm trees with a teak table and 4 chairs. Sitting on the balcony with the palms swaying, enjoying a meal or a drink, is one of the many highlights of Cloud Nine! The bedroom area offers a 32' flat screen HDTV and is also connected to the DVD player in the living area. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and everything you will need to be right at home. The bathroom features a beautiful, fully tiled shower. All linens are provided and are brand new this season!
Downstairs, you will find a fully enclosed outdoor shower, which is wonderful when coming in from the beach. The water pressure in this shower is awesome and having an extra shower available to you is always handy. Adjoining the outdoor shower is the laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer and extra storage space for your clothes or other items.
In the front of the property, surrounded by palms and oleanders, you will find a beautiful pergola with a swing waiting for you!
At Cloud Nine, you are literally steps away from the Gulf! Two beach chairs and an umbrella are provided with your rental during the season. Carillon Beach is a gated community and a beautiful and very special place. The architecture of the homes and common areas is second to none on the Gulf. Once you are inside, it's like being in your own little slice of heaven. There are NO public roads running through Carillon Beach. Unlike Rosemary Beach or SeaSide, there is no 30-A traffic or crowds to contend with. The beaches are beautiful, wide and not crowded. There are 3 pools available to you (one heated), including a Gulf front pool with a stunning view. Other ammenities include two tennis courts, kiddie pool, basketball court and a downtown area that hosts live music during the summer, movies on the green, a wine bar, sports bar with a casual restaurant, coffee shop, general store, bike rentals, non-denominational chapel and more.
Outside the gates of Carillon Beach, you will find Publix, Winn-Dixie, CVS and other necessities just a 1/4 mile away. Scenic 30-A is 1 mile to the west and offers many great restaurants, shopping, golf and other quaint beach communities. Getting to Cloud Nine is now easier than ever with the opening of our new airport, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) and the services of Delta and SouthWest, just a short 15 minute drive away.

House was perfect for my daughter and I to have a nice short beach visit by ourselves! The house is very convenient to the beach and such a pleasant fun atmosphere in decor! Loved the little side porch for quiet time and to sit and enjoy especially in early evening. The bed/linens were nice and the bathroom spacious and nice also! I love the Carillon area and Rod's house is just one more reason to love it more!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We truly enjoyed our stay at cloud nine. The rental was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a romantic, relaxing get away. The owner was so easy to deal with. We have stayed in this area for years but this rental and owner was the best so far. The area of carillon beach was amazing and we will visit again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed the stay at Cloud Nine. Everything was very clean and inviting. We loved the high ceiling and wall lighting. The built in console gives a nice separation to living and sleeping areas. While the kitchen is very tight, we found everything we needed to do anything we desired. However, we cooked minimally during our stay. The enclosed heated shower prevented tracking of sand to the living area - great feature!. The only challenge was getting a large heavy piece of luggage up the stairs.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

If anyone is looking for a really romantic, refreshing, relaxing stay then you're definitely looking at the perfect location. The listing is accurate in every way (location, pictures, the amenities, apperance, etc.) Our stay was so enjoyable that we really, really did not want to leave. The community is quite and relaxing but so very beautiful that you could just get lost taking in it's flavor. The cottage was immaculate! The entire contents were so very fresh and clean. I loved the shower!!! And the patio area!!! And as great as the cottage and amenities were, the property owner was even more so! He was so very attentive to my concerns and very easy to talk to. We will definitely recommend Cloud Nine not only to our family and friends but to any and everyone who would like to leave all their cares behind and relax, relax, relax!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Loved Cloud Nine! Perfect in every way! The living area was cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, the cd collection was great, the porch felt like a little tree house dining room, the swing was a great place to enjoy the evening, the stroll to the beautiful beach and azure water was very short, the lighting was ambient, and the bed was super comfy! The Carillon Beach community was lovely! We truly enjoyed our time at Cloud Nine.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

A wonderfully appointed (including instructions) home. Very comfortable, quiet accomadations that were perfect for two. Our host was prompt and available for questions and recomendations. About the owner: I am originally from Melbourne, FL but have lived in Atlanta since 1976. Even though I am an East Coast FL native, I have always loved coming to the Gulf Coast and built Cloud Nine about 15 years ago. I have loved each and every trip to Carillon Beach and am happy to be able to share my beach house with you!

I fell in love with the style, charm and architecture of Carillon Beach and have since become very good friends with so many great people who were also drawn to this special beach community.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One of the things I really appreciate about this area are the many dining choices. You can find fantastic high end restaurants and gourmet meals if that's what you're in the mood for, or you can find the best fried shrimp basket at the beach (The Sand Bar btw) and everything in between. Thomas' has the best donuts on the beach and if you need a great bottle of wine (at any price) go talk to Doc at Carousel. Add in the weather and the beautiful beaches and pools and what more do you really need?!
