  kee deer, tortise, ibis, possum, racoon, armadillo, porpise, tons of birds. Got some good surfing in, and due to the outstanding beds, slept like a log. Thanks for the great memories.

  This has been an amazing experience. We loved the chanels and the sunsets, the wild animals, sea creatures and birds. The sunsets and the ocean breezes and privacy. We also appreciated the care and thoughtfulness that went into the house. So amazing. And such a perfect place to practice gratitude, rest and connect. Thank you,

  relaxing get away at your island oasis. Celebrated Rays birthday what a great time! Paddle boarded was again a great hit with everyone. Many improvements since we were here back in May-place just keeps getting better. Really enjoyed reading all the entries of the other guests, this is quite a special place and you make so many people happy the sharing it! Many thanks

  With a dream beach location! Thank you Espen, for this week, long slice of paradise and natural wonder. Our family converged here from Valroce Fl Washington DC and Boston. My Brother came from Boston and we also joined by my dad, from our family home outside Tampa. We had an amazing week. I've never had a Florida experience like this. We also enjoyed using the boat and took fishing trips and plain old exploring about rides..While on the boat we had an amazing encounter with 3 Dolphins we also saw a manatee! At eh house we saw: More dolphins Iguana Gopher turtle Tons of lizards Like black crabs on the dock and bigger white and yellow crabs on the beach. Coguinas (sand flies) 2 small sand colored sting rays just off the beach. lots of fish, even caught one fishing off the beach. Lots of amazing slugs washed up on shore the last evening we were here. Armadillos A deer! a buck we saw him from the back porch off in the grass and bushes between the house and the beach. tons of great birds, Blue Heron ibises, ospreys, pelicans, flickers and more. and the best of all.... Baby sea turtles!!!! Our very first beach day...actually, it was our second we approached an nice young lady who was inspecting the sea turtle nests (three bioligists monitor the nests every day) While she was digging up what remained of a nest, 4 baby sea turtles who had yet to leave the nest, came out. It was a moment we'll never forget the kids (6 and 2) also got to watch her release them into the ocean. Thanks again for an amazing week. We love the setting, the peace, the sounds....

  Espen, Thank you for building this dream island home! We loved all the amenities you have here to offer and were never bored or happier to be bored! Doing absolutely nothing! It is a major break away from our non-stop busy lives in South Beach! We sat under the stars, swam int he ocean daily-collected shells, snorkeled, napped, fished, boated, played, cooked, worked, (wi fi a major bonus!) and really had a wonderful time on this coast. Heading back to the other coast now-but we will be back!

  Thank you for the nice days we spent in your house. The children 16 (boy) 14 (girl) 12 (girl) loved it too! To swim with the body boards, to see the animals, to be alone at the beach and in nature. You don't find something like this often! We came over the for the way Hamburg, in Germany. Ps we saw the Armadillo, the cardinal, the spoonbill, the tracks of the deer etc.

  for these last 6 days. Going back and bringing all this calm, beauty, magic, respect for what in nature does not belong to us, will be difficult. But I pray that each person who has this awesome experience can take some home to others and spread the wonder, love, respect, beauty, and magic! Thank you Espen for creating such a special place and sharing thanks for making it green! Will will come back Zama our dog, love it too!

  Cardinals greeting every morning. Woodpecker, sapsucker could hear could not see. That wonderful sweet tapping. Actually swimming out to engage with dolphin pod. Having one come to me and check me out, was so close I actually touched him/her-they swam around me for a minute or two and went on their way. Been close to them in water before but never touched like that. Crystal in sun room lanai just beautiful to watch and look at different times of the day- exquisiteness and shockingly different each day and time as well

  Wow! What a wonderful setting! What a lovely house, that quickly feels like a home. What did we see? Maginficient Frigatbird Skimmers Brown and White Pelicans Cardinal Reddish Egret Osprey Many with babies Swallow tail kite Snowy Egret Great Egret Wilsons Ploves Hill Myna (a first for us) Willet Terns (common and royal) Dolphin (One hear dock on interocoastal & a pod that swam around at the beach) Needlefish (near dock) Armadillos Key Dear (Including a handsome buck on beach near sunset) Bobcat tracks Our tracks Bueatuful Butterflies What did we not see? Stress Fighting Crowds Anger What was unusual? Waking up at 2:30 am by a powerful thunderstorm roll through.. Not seeing anyone for five days...not really worring or caring about anything. Being relaxed, at peace and happy. For us it was unusual for us to want to come back... What did we enjoy? Sunrise and Sunset High Tide Low tide The cooling breeze each other The external environment the internal calm What is possible to add? My husband told about everything so beautifully ;-) But for me here has been magical rich in life quiet except the lapping sound of the ocean, so sirens, so yelling, screaming, no phone calls that go on forever Warmth-for heart and body Love-for all that is here, for a loving husband that due to the rush of his job, DC...I do not get to love enough..

  Tons of sunshine! Big storm coming in...(Great view from the porch) Gopher turtle Several new seat turtle nests. Osprey, Egrets, Herons, Pelicans, heast twins, black skimmers, a cute cardinal thats makes morning visits to the palmetto that grows out of the porch. A stingray, Manatees (2) Dolphin (lots) Armadillo Opossum Racoons Corn Skate Gecko Family of kee deer. Bobcat tracks Hog Family and Friends that came out to visit ;-) Many Many thanks for sharing this very special place PS Fishing form the shore and sandbar in between tides is excellent!

Skippered boat transport can be arranged $150 per day for one round trip or a boat rental for your entire stay. The rate is -$700 per week. Requires prepaid fuel of $200 for full tank of gas.. Generally you have your choice between a 21 center console set up for fishing...or a 21 deck boat key west, family style ease of operation....
