Grand Cayman is the ideal location for the perfect beach vacation. Cayman offers one of the world’s best beaches, crystal clear waters and divine underwater landscapes with amazing sea life.
Among the most famous attractions are the Turtle Farm and Stingray City. The Turtle Farm should be savoured in the afternoon after the midday sun has set a little. Stingray City should be arranged by private charter with a couple of side trips to Little Sound, the barrier reef, Rum Point and a chance to mingle with the locals at the Sand Bar for a great day of boating and story swapping.
The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is a great place to visit with the endangered Blue Iguana. The iguanas can be seen throughout the park as well as other wildlife, parrots and indigenous flora and fauna. The park is divided into two sections. One section is a wildlife trek and the other section is a beautiful display of local gardens, amazing flowers and plants, including orchids. For anyone who loves tropical plants, this is a great experience.
Pedro St. James encompasses the oldest building in Grand Cayman set on top of a cliff and near to the sea. The original building was a Pirate Castle made out of coral rock. It was stated in an old British history book that Edward Teach, aka “Blackbeard” landed on Cayman in April 1717 and stayed for nine months. The grounds of the new building are magical, and the views are amazing. Still on site is one of the original “waddle and dub” Cayman style houses which was built in the early 1800’s. The house was inhabited until the 1960’s.
If you crave a little more adventure and wildlife above sea level a Cayman Safari is available taking you through the Mastric Trail and other local off the beaten track excursions. These tours are best arranged prior to arrival.
The Farmers Market is a good place to sample some of the local produce on Wednesday afternoons at Camana Bay. Our locals do a great job of farming produce and local meat.

Our family of 7 (all 5 children are young adults) had a wonderful time on the island of Grand Cayman staying in unit 42 of Lorrie's. The condo is located perfectly for walking on the beach, walking to entertainment and restaurants. We did not rent a vehicle but took the city busses. We spent a lot of time in front of our condo complex just relaxing in the sun, people watching, snorkeling and playing in the waves. Everything is just as it is pictured on the website. The condo was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for us. We ate most of our meals at the condo and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. The washer, dryer and dishwasher are a huge plus. There are 2 balconies with the one off the kitchen being screened in--very nice to enjoy meals. Extra beach umbrellas in the closet came in very handy! My husband could not pick up a signal for the wireless -- and I had forgotten to ask how to use it. The views are absolutely amazing. Another plus is that you can snorkel along the reef to the south of the condo just by walking a few blocks. Lorrie was very helpful answering our questions, making suggestions and fulfilling our requests. A great tip to know --you can take your groceries home in a cart (we had 2!) and the store picks them up at the condo. The grocery store is about a mile away. It may be a few years before we can take our whole family on another vacation (with grands probably!!) but we will look into this unit again. We felt this was a very good rental value and would recommend to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Very charming unit -- well decorated -- great location. Enjoyed it very much and would definately visit again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

High Season Daily rentals are available at a min.stay of 4 nights for US$575/nt. High Season Weekly rentals are available for US$4,025. High Season is between 5th Jan - 15 Apr. Christmas rates US$675 per night. Low Season Daily rentals are available at a minimum stay of 4 nights for US$450/nt Low Season Weekly rentals are available for US$3,150 These rates are exclusive of 13% tourist tax.
