We stayed at the cabin for a week this summer, and I can honestly say, it was the best vacation we have had with our two girls. I work in a high stress job and wanted to get away with just the family, no people around. We did that and got back to the basics. Totally unplugged. We were in the water all day, had fires in the evening, then did puzzles and played games before bed. When we were away from the cabin, all I could think about was getting back. Carol was awesome and responded to all our needs. When we mentioned life jackets for the girls, she showed up with them the next morning (and even got the right colour LOL). We felt like we owned the place while we were there. Yes, there's no air conditioning, but the evenings cooled down nicely and we had no trouble sleeping. Wonderful experience and we will be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you Elaine and family for such a nice review. I enjoyed having you and do hope you will return next year. Sincerely, Carol

We just returned from a delightful week at this cabin on Hayden Lake. It was a great break from all the distractions of urban life. Outdoors is fantastic -- a wide covered porch, and just below that is a large stone patio with gas grill and table for eating, and below that is another level with a fire pit. And then stairs down to the dock. The lake is clear and clean, and the kids loved paddling around in the owner's kayaks. Our youngest was the one who caught the fish -- her first. Remember it's a cabin and not a condo. There's no air conditioning, but it's not needed since the cabin is fully shaded. There's a TV for playing DVDs and VHS tapes, but no cable or internet. It's in a quiet location at the end of a gravel road. The perfect getaway for our family, and we will be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: We live nearby and have enjoyed the property with our children who are now grown and moved away. We are very familiar with the area so can help with locating amenities.
Why the Owner Chose Clark Point:
We purchased this property for our personal use when our children were little and love it so much we want to share it with others.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Hayden Lake is a large lake but very quiet because there is limited public access. Perfect for all boating and sailing activities. Clear deep water just off the dock is perfect for swimming.
