What a view! Southern exposure for those warm summer days. Firepit to the east of the deck at lake's edge. Good swimming, includes a floating dock. About the owner: We are very happy that we discovered this cottage in 2000. This is the first year we are renting it. We hope others will also enjoy the lake and want to return.
Why the Owner Chose Newaygo:
We choose this lake because it is close to Grand Rapids with a 40 minute commute. We were at a friends wedding on the lake and fell in love with the lake.

We love the view. The cottage sits above the water.On days where their is a wind we enjoy the summer breezes. It sits off the main road offering less traffic. noise. The southern exposure is great for tanning. On the Fourth of July we can sit on the deck and enjoy the fireworks from Hess Lake.
