This is our new pride and joy. My wife and I found this property in 2011 and quickly fell in love with the mountain lifestyle.
We want our friends, family and guests to experience this modern cabin with wonderfull year around views.
Deer Valley is a Gated Communuty with paved roads, a pavillion with fireplace, and volleyball.
We have a King Bed Suite upstairs, a Queen Bed Suite downstairs and a full size trundle bed in the huge loft that sleeps 2 with private access to a full bathroom. A King bed air mattress can also be used in the loft area.
There is always something to do close by to keep everyone entertained. Please email us for a comprehensive list of activities.
We are pet-freindly and want you to enjoy your 4 legged family members. A non refundable deposit of $100.00 per visit will be charged for cleaning the cabin.
We opted not to install a land line but we do have good cell access.
The cabin offers a family environment for all ages to enjoy. Relax in front of the wood burning stove and watch the mountains from the large picture windows or watch your favorite show on our flat panel TV with satelitte programs.

We stayed at this very nice cabin 6-7-13 through 6-13-13. The owner was great to deal with even on a short notice. The cabin seemed like new and was "Very Clean", with everything anyone would need. The floor plan is excellent to accommodate just two or in-laws and grand-kids. I believe the elevation was over 2800 feet and the views and Cicadas were awesome. We were totally private with only one other cabin on the mountain. The location is equidistant from Hayesville, Hiawassee and Young Harris. We look forward to our next visit there.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We have rented several homes in the mountains and this was our favorite. The view was so beautiful it didn't seem real. It looked like a post card. Beautiful home and the owners were great to work with.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Beautiful views. Cabin was warm and cozy. Loved having a fire for those cold nights.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My husband & I just spent 5 wonderful nights at Behr Paw Lodge! The elevation allows 360* views that are spectacular! If quiet and solitude is your desire, then we highly recommend this rental. You are conveniently located to Hayesville; Young Harris; Blairsville; & The Folk School. There are some great restaurants nearby...one being Brothers@Willow Creek! The owners see that you are well stocked with all the necessities. The home is very clean & tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this rental! Thank you again, Mark & Joan, for opening your beautiful mountain home to us...AND our Lab! My sisters and I just returned from a week in this wonderful cabin and couldn't have been more pleased. Everything was just as advertised and Mark and Joan go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. The property is exactly as described. Views off the back deck are awesome down to the valley below and across to the adjoining mountains. In the morning, seeing the mountains across the valley rise up through the fog below was beautiful. Very private location, perfect for walking the dog. Convenient to nearby Hayesville, Hiawassee, and Blairsville for shopping, restaurants, etc. Home itself is extremely nice and very comfortable with multiple bedrooms and baths for convenience.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We could not have asked for a better vacation rental. The house was gorgeous, the views amazing. Very comfortable for our family. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Last week we spent 5 days at this beautiful cabin in the mountains. Pictures do not do it justice. It was even more than we expected. The cabin is clean, well stocked and equipped with special attention to details. The views were awesome and we spent each morning and night overlooking the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. We shared this cabin with another couple and we found it to be spacious and private with plenty of room to move around. I found the owner to be extremely polite and easy to work with supplying us with a lot of information about the area. We have rented many VRBO cabins in the past but this one ranks right up there with being one of the nicest. I often read the comments from previous renters to get an idea of what the cabin is like which is one of the reasons I wanted to do this review. I would highly recommend it to friends and family and we hope to return to this cabin one day. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cabin at a reasonable rate. May God bless you with many good renters in the future!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners.

Met at the cabin with our friends from Fl. for a week of rest and visiting. The cabin was everything you could ask for. Accomodations were over the top! Cabin was stocked and well kept. Very quiet and peaceful. Large rooms and wonderful view from the spacious porch. Would definetley recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get away. Amenities were just as photos showed and then some. Nearby restaurants we went to were Rib Country, Sawmill in Blairsville, Brasstown Valley Resort. The food was over the top good and Brasstown Valley Resort is worth the time even if you don't eat there. Very pretty.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this cabin with our son and daughter in law, who had made all the cabin rental arrangements. I was a bit skeptical, since there were no reviews available at the time of our rental. My son and daughter in law are much more trusting. The cabin was wonderful, with ample space for everyone. The kitchen was equipped as well as any home kitchen. We prepared our breakfasts there every morning, and one dinner as well, making use of the porch patio furnishings to eat and enjoy the mountain views. The cabin is very tastefully furnished and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this cabin for anyone planning a visit to this area of North Carolina.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

About the owner: My wife and I have been married 'several' decades and enjoy travel and experiencing new things. We started using VRBO to find those out of the way treasures for vacations. Mark has recently gone back to riding motorcycles and found this wonderful area to explore and eventually purchased this property. Joan continues to enjoy decorating including this cabin. She enjoys her small group at church and has hopes to bring the 'girls' up for some area shopping and antiquing. We have one married daughter that lives close by. Mark has been in the Logistics industry for 30 years and enjoys experiencing new challanges.
Why the Owner Chose Hayesville:
THE VIEW.!! We have multiple long distance mountain views. The scenery changes by the minute. We have complete solitude with no neighbors close by. We have deer, wild turkeys and bob cats roaming the mountain. Its like camping but in a 4 star lodge.
