Stayed at the Casa Ventana this last fall and had an excellent time. The house has the most amazing location in Nosara, just between two gorgeous beaches. Perfect for surfing, swimming, or just walking to a restaurant to have a drink and watch the sun set over the Pacific. The house was an excellent layout, with a huge deck to chill on. Property was clean and easy to stay at! Looking forward to returning to Noasara later this year and hoping to stay at the Casa Ventana again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

I originally came to Nosara for a two week visit. The day after I arrived I took the very short walk down to the beaches and instantly realized I needed to extend my vacation. The house is in the perfect spot as it is so near not one but 2 amazing beaches with one having good surf daily, ( I surfed or body surfed every day for a month straight). The house itself is designed well and is located in a quiet spot that is near every thing one could want. The people of Nosara and surrounding areas are Awesome. If cooking isnt your thing, I highly recommend Rancho Tico as a dinner spot. I am all ready planning my next trip with my family and I will be staying at this house again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We stayed in Nosara over new years and enjoyed perfect weather. The house is perfectly located (ala the title) between playa pelada and guiones. We hit the surf in the am at guiones then relaxed in the afternoon under the trees at pelada watching the surf hit the blow hole and fishermen come in with their catches. The house is well appointed with on demand hot water, washer dryer, bbq for the cooking up the daily catch, and beach supplies. La Luna, one of the best resataurants in town with a vast menu of appetizing dishes and cocktails is a 2 minute walk away and don't miss out on the filet with jalapeno sauce at Racho tico in town. The house was safe, comfortable, and the best value in Nosara for it's 5star location with all the amenities one could want for a surf or family vacation.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I had a wonderful time staying in the upper unit with my husband and child. The house is located in walking distance to 2 great beaches. It was very nice to walk to the beach rather than drive. The house doesn't have AC but, we found that it was not necessary.The house stayed cool throughout the day and night . We look forward to our next stay.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
