We stayed for a romantic month in Paris in this excellent centrally located apartment during the Christmas and New Year holiday. First off, all the previous reviews are accurate and truthful! This apartment is really a very comfortable, clean and cozy spot to launch a wonderful visit to Paris. The apartment is in a safe location, near restaurants and bakeries, while also offering convenient location and access to local antiques shops and local art galleries. We were concerned about three criteria when looking for an apartment. We wanted a safe place, a clean apartment and an excellent location. Rocco scored goals on all three and we had an excellent time. We had a special concern with a firm bed and as Rocco informed us the bed was firm. We cannot recommend this apartment more highly. Please remember we stayed in Paris for a month and definitely got into the local venues. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Rocco is very informative, available and helpful with any concern you may have. Rocco, thank you for making the apartment rental process and our stay in Paris a highlight of our lives. When in Paris we will visit you again Buon Amico!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The apartment was in a terrific location, just one street away from the Seine, and a six minute walk to the Louvre. The neighborhood was upscale, and within easy walking distance of so many places, including the Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame, the Rodin Museum, the Luxembourg Gardens, the St. Germain area, and more. We had a great start to every day with wonderful croissants and coffee at the local bakery, which also provided delicious salads and quiches on the nights when we just wanted to collapse. The owner's representative was completely helpful, greeting us on our arrival and making sure we were comfortably settled in, and helping us with our departure (taxi, bags, etc.). Having wi-fi and free phone to the US was a plus, as well as TV that included English language channels. Having stayed in miniscule hotel rooms before, we were very glad to have the amenities of a well provisioned apartment, and at a great price. We recommend this property unhesitatingly.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment turned out to be just perfect for our first trip to Paris together. It was conveneintly located near most everything we wanted to see or do. It was very clean and well-maintained and Rocco, the property manager was solicitous and exceedingly helpful about everything, from directions on how to get to the apartment from the airport to things to do and see nearby. The apartment is modern, though it is in an older building and the hallways and stairs are not as updated and modern as is the apartment. But don't be put off by that. The listing photos are very accurate and evedrything was as advertised in the listing. We like to walk and found that many area attractions were within an acceptable distance, including the Musee D'Orsay, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Tuilleries, and more. We especailly liked walking among the eshops and restaurants in the St. Germain des Pres area which is nearby. For longer distances, we used the Metro at St. Germain de Pres which is only a few minutes walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and easily recommend this lovely place to others.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Rocco was prompt and helpful from our first inquiry for availability of the apartment through to meeting us on our arrival. This was our first trip to France and we spent 5 days in Paris and it was fun to call this apartment home. The apartment was as pictured...Modern, clean and bright. The kitchen was well equipped and the clothes washing machine was a great convenience. The apartment is situated in a chic area of art galleries and boutiques near/within St.Germain and was safe, clean and exceptionally quiet after midnight. Many major attractions are within a 30 minute walk and subway & RER stations within an easy 10 minutes, Do read the information provided in the apartment for recommendations for markets and other amenities within the local area. Wifi access was excellent and the phone service with free calling to Canada was very much appreciated. There are two large windows which open wide to let the fresh air in and and enjoy the daytime sounds of the street below - immersing yourself in the character of this lovely little piece of Paris!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in May, 2012. We chose it firstly for its location and that didn't disappoint. It is literally a three-minute walk to the Louvre and it's easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Jardin du Luxembourg and almost any other popular tourist location in central Paris. It also is close to a couple of great restaurant areas: Rue de Buci (one-minue walk) and Rue Princessse area (five-minute walk). The amazing Eric Kayser boulangerie is one minute away and that was the source of fresh bread every morning. The location ended up being even better than we could have hoped. The apartment itself is perfect for a couple. The bedroom is delightful dark at night and the bed very comfortable. There's also a comfortable hide-a-bed couch in the living area. The living area features two huge windows that brighten the place right up during the day. It comes with all the necessary amenities (good shower, fridge, microwave) and a couple of bonuses, such as an automatic espresso machine, a dishwasher, free phone and wifi. The owner also furnished the bookshelf with all kind of great Paris maps and books to answer any questions we had about bus lines and things to do. The building is part of an old block with plenty of character. As you climb staircases and a winding dark hallway to the apartment, you'll wonder where you're heading. But the final destination - the apartment - is a clean, modern, cozy place that was perfect for us.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
