We stayed her with our daughters (1 and 4) and our dog for 5 days of skiiing. The condo is spotless and perfectly appointed. The beds were comfy and we loved having humidifiers in each bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need, even a crockpot which was perfect for us to come home to ready-to-eat comfort meals after a day on the mountain. Having a washer and dryer right in the unit was also very convenient. The jacuzzi is at the far end of the building and we had it to ourselves both times we used it during the week. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the condo entrance was a bit of a haul from the street - around a path and down 17 steps. The underground garage is at the far end of the complex, so we just parked on the street in front of the building. This is probably not an issue unless you are traveling with all the gear (kid, ski, dog) that we had. My husband got a workout. :) All in all, it was a comfy, clean, quiet place for vacation and I would definitely recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for the review! We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay, its hard to beat (you should see it during the summer, no snow perhaps but plenty of other great things to do and see). As you mentioned, it is a bit of a haul to get to our place but its worth it for the feeling of privacy that you get. One thing to keep in mind is that during very heavy snow falls, the parking in front of the condo may not be available. What we do is unload at the path to the condo then go and park the car in the garage. Our spaces are the furthest back in the garage putting you very close to the elevator. When you come up from the elevator you are at the end of building 3 which is then just a short walk to building 4 where our condo is located. Thanks again for the review and we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay!

The condo complex is conveniently located within a mile of Mammoth Village and yet is on a private road adjoining a golf course, so one feels that they are "off the beaten path." The unit was well appointed and clean, and we enjoyed our stay. One thing to be aware of is that the unit is in the rear of the condo complex and one must descend steps to access it. Not a problem for us, but could be a problem for someone with endurance/mobility issues. We would definitely return.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

we really enjoyed our time at this property. i wish that they had instructions as to where to take the trash out as we could not find where to dump. the only negative thing is that we arrived to a dirty bathtub and coffee pot. i would stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Hi, thanks for your review. We will have instructions as to where to find the trash bins in our guest book as the the bins are indeed hidden away (we had some trouble finding them ourselves when we purchased the condo). As for the cleaning...that should not have happened and we will ensure that it does not occur again. Thanks for your review, it really helps us make our condo a nicer place to stay!

About: Peggy and Dan are empty nesters that have grown weary of the surf crowds and congested freeways of San Diego! We fell in love with Mammoth Lakes when close friends nodded and prodded us to ski with them at Mammoth Mountain. What a gem of a Mountain! We are now seriously addicted! We are also avid hikers and look forward to learning how to fly fish. We yearn for our retirement years so that we can live part-time in Mammoth. Until then, “Mi Casa es su casa”. We hope you enjoy your stay and welcome your comments and suggestions to help make your future visits even better.
