Adorable Martha's Vineyard style cottage located atop a hill in Summerland's most tranquil street. Ocean view windows and enchanting gardens in the front and back yards. French doors in the living room open to a wood deck for entertaining. It is equipped with a propane grill and shaded outdoor furniture. The house is very tastefully decorated with art from all over the world.

This Summerland house is perfect for a relaxed, romantic gateway or a family vacation. Walk down to the quaint town; access the beach through Overlook Park, Enjoy restaurants, cafes, wine tasting, Antique stores, Day spas and more. You won’t want to leave

The dining area with French doors opens to the back yard terrace gardens. It is adjacent to the remodeled kitchen with a Dacor oven, sub zero fridge and lime stones counter tops. Master bedroom is very romantic facing the ocean with 1 Queen size bed. 2nd bedroom is extra large and accommodates 2 sleeping areas with French doors opening to the back yard with 2 queen size beds. 3rd bedroom faces the ocean with 1 double bed.

Bathroom 1, has ceramic tile floor and a bath tub. Bathroom 2, remodeled with stoned floor and a step in shower. You will love this great family vacation home or romantic gateway. There is a cat on the property. Her name is Flippy. The backyard also has a very large easement with fruit trees. The property has access to trails and is walking distance to Summerland village. Slow down and enjoy this sunny and romantic beachside retreat.

  • Valerie's home is as advertised! Very charming, relaxing and inviting. We loved cooking in the state of the art kitchen, and then dining on the front deck, enjoying the breeze, sunshine and beautiful ocean view! The back gardens are so tranquil, perfect for reading and sipping coffee or tea. We had two romantic nights alone, and then our children joined us and they did not want to leave either. Only five minutes from Stearns Wharf, but far enough away to not be in the "tourist" chaos. We will look forward to another stay, and please say "hi" to Flippy.

  • This place was great! My family stayed there for my mom's 60th birthday and we were all very excited when we saw the home. It's a beautiful home 2 minutes from the beach with a great patio with ocean views for bar-b-qing, a beautiful upgraded kitchen, a hammock in the back yard, and wonderful art throughout. I highly recommend it.

We LOVED your front patio and cool breezes and Summerland beach. Your gardener on Friday brought us some fresh peaches from your tree (your gardens are very pretty, both front and back). We loved the character of the place with all of the unique paintings, figures, art and the lovely landscaping. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking out to the ocean.   • What a beautiful and warm home! We spent every evening on the deck with the beautiful view, grilling, drinking wine, talking, laughing. The garden in the back is lovely, what a great place to lie in the hammock, read or nap. What a place to renew your spirit and forget about stress! We will definitely return. House was more than omfortable for the 6 of us (3 couples), oh and we loved Flippy, she was a great hostess.
