Built in 1901, your home in Chicago is perched at the top of this mansion with sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the beautiful Gaudy Park across the street. Your home is large, warm, and sunny with those always-preferred south (city views) and east (unobstructed lake views) exposures. A large warm living room with wood burning fireplace (firewood provided) will be your home base. Also enjoy a terrific kitchen, bathroom, and extra-large bedroom. The furniture and art is non pareil, including award winning Italian furniture by Living Divani, high definition Smart TV, and a Tempor Pedic mattress. If you seek an alternative to a hotel in Chicago, you have found your place. Our location is unmatched: you are literally steps away from the Lake Michigan beaches, the Magnificent Mile/Michigan Avenue, all the best shopping, dining, and nightlife of the Rush/Division area.
This is a 1 bedroom home that is ideal for 1-4 guests. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and the living room had a luxurious leather day bed by Neiman Marcus with a comfortable full size bed for 1, and a removable trundle bed for a second living room guest. (Especially perfect for children!)
Pets are always welcome at Ritchie Manor. Please bring your dog or cat, any size is fine if they are well behaved. There are plenty of parks, grass, and Lake Michigan shores for your pet to enjoy within 1 block.
While we only provide 31 day leases to be fully compliant with all city regulations, many guests find that our monthly leases are comparable to the cost of hotels and vacation rentals.

We were in Chicago for the Chicago Marathon and Ritchie Manor was the perfect location. Nestled in the Gold Coast area we were only a few blocks from the marathon course. We were also within walking distance to all that Chicago has to offer, from Miracle Mile to Navy Pier, Second City and the famous Rush Street restaurants. Ritchie Manor is a quaint quiet building and the top floor unit was perfect for our family of four. The unit was spacious and clean. It is exactly like the pictures and the price is much better than most hotels in the area. Russ was great to work with and I would definitely return to Ritchie Manor on future trips to Chicago.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
