Welcome Superb location for visiting Estes Park.....Close to everything but located in a quiet neighborhood called High Pines. We offer guests a relaxing and comfortable stay in our classic home.
Our two story home is 1350 square feet and surrounded by large pine trees on one acre of land. The large screened in porch on two sides is a great place to relax with your loved one while watching elk, deer, an occasional bear, coyote, fox or bobcat. Downtown Estes Park is less than a mile and is very walkable. Rocky Mountain National Park is about a two mile drive.
The two large bathrooms are clean and bright with towels provided. The upstairs bathroom is new and features a shower and full size washer and dryer. If you would like a relaxing bath, try our vintage claw foot tub in downstairs bathroom
. The three upstairs bedrooms are decorated nicely and feature comfy king, queen and double beds, two of which have heated mattress pads.
The bright, sunny kitchen has been recently remodeled and is fully equipped, including everything you need to prepare meals. The living room is large and comfortable with lots of windows and if you open the french doors you bring the outside in through the screened porch. The Majestic wood cook stove that the original owners used for heat, cooking and hot water is now a decoration in the living room, next to which, are pictures of the families taken during construction of the house over 100 years ago.
There is a nice outside deck with a gas barbeque grill and seating. It is sunny in the morning and shaded by afternoon. We love the tree swing just off the deck.

About the owner: Lew and I are self employed and enjoy traveling. We love the ocean almost as much as the mountains. Teresa
Why the Owner Chose Estes Park: While looking for a second home in Estes Park, we fell in love with the charm of this 100 year old property.' Singing Pines' was named and built by three homestead families from Greeley, Colorado, which is about fifty miles away.
The women sold eggs to pay for the lumber and the men hauled the lumber up the canyon and began construction in 1910. There are pictures in our living room showing them building our home. Over the years modern conveniences, such as electric range, dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, etc., have been added to blend with the original furnishings, such as the Majestic Wood Cook Stove.
The Unique Benefits at this House: Relaxing with family, hiking, going out to eat and shopping are our favorite things to do in Estes.
