From sitting on the patio viewing the Olympic Mountains, to sitting on the swing on the front porch, or relaxing in the jetted tub, you will find yourself in love with our turn of the century Painted Lady (5 colors) of Port Angeles! Our house is conveniently located to restaurants, city bus (1/2 block), grocery, and downtown Port Angeles. You may see the cruise ships sail by on the weekend, or catch a glimpse of the bald eagles that catch the updrafts on the bluffs. We are sharing our home so other individuals and families can create long-term memorable vacations and get-a-ways. Our house was completely remodeled five years ago, and all the appliances were new at that time. We have a front load washer and a dryer for your convenience, and a pellet stove for ambiance. From the Master Suite you will have a great view of the Straight of Juan de Fuca and looking down on the Coho Ferry Terminal to Victoria, Canada. Also from the MS you will have a great view of the Olympic Mountain Range. Within three blocks of the house you will find Four places to dine out, a gas station, a local grocery store, and a coffee shop. We have parking for RV's if you are on the go exploring the great olympic peninsula. Our home has a queen bed in the Master Suite, a full bed in the front bedroom, a full futon in the loft, a sleeper-sofa in the living room, two single beds in the downstairs bedroom, as well as, a single trundle bed. We have an automated ResortLock on the door and simply email you your code for entry! There is a pantry to store food and gear. Cable TV is provided, as well as, WiFi. We want you to feel as welcome as when we travel to Mexico--'Mi casa, es tu casa!'

We spend the December Holidays in This Beautifully updated home. The space allowed us comfortable visiting room for my older family members to sit relaxed and enjoy time together. The views of the snowcapped mountains and the harbor (mostly from the master suite upstairs) were always a pleasure to wake up to. We enjoyed the cozy loft area for the evenings. The front and back yards are beautifully landscaped. If it were summer we certainly would have taken advantage of the patio with the wonderful barbecue area. Restaurants and small grocery store is a short distance and just down the hill to the harbor and downtown. Someone was always available if we needed anything by phone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a memorable time at the Painted Lady! It was amazingly pleasant to see how well-stocked and well-furnished the house was. It exuded a positive energy that we all felt. . . .from the 3 year old to the 63 year old. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Port Angeles! PS: Thanks for your helpful tips for eating out and finding our way!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
